Hello All!

DS is off to Gettysburg, PA for a scout camping weekend. Tomorrow they are doing a bicycle tour of the battlefields -approx 15 miles of biking in total. Then Sunday they are doing the visitor center, tour of the Eisenhower house, and some other things. The weather is expected to be beautiful.

I am really excited to surprise DD with the trip to The Land of Little Horses Farm tomorrow. She thinks we are only going to the apple festival. She will not eat fruits and vegetables. So she just keeps saying...I am not eating any apples! I hate apples! At this point it is all in her head. It's all about the drama.

Ya never know, she may if she knows horses eat them to keep strong.. and one day maybe work for Disney..

Hehe that's probably b/c I didn't add it until the second post. Doh, lazy typing

Now I am chomping at the bit, waiting for them to open tomorrow (what time EST is it again I can hammer them, 8a.m. right?? no redial needed this time!)

Oh that sounds like fun! I love horses. My nephew will do that from time to time, claim he "hates" a certain food. He has "hated" calamari and sushi. Both are now two of his favorite foods

I've tried the logic that if she wants to be a dancer then she needs to eat fruits and veggies. Her theory on that one can be summed up by saying ...it's just a hobby or it's just for fun. I'm not doing this forever.

I think we tried the horse thing before because her horse Smores - practically the size of a real miniature horse- has a carrot that he eats. No go on that one either.

We've been breaking out the 'tough love' lately though. She is required to eat them or no tv, or snack later, and other things like that.
