welcome to the group

We're also doing the Panama Canal Cruise in January. It's verrrrrry hard to contain our excitement. Santa is giving my niece(Disneyana) these cruises for Christmas. The Dream is on her Christmas list but the PCC is a surprise! But it will be worth it to see her face on Christmas morning!!!

Darn!!

And to my SSMC09 friends, just think this time I no longer have school work to take up so much of my time. :cool1: Submitted my 'petition for diploma' paperwork last week. Graduation is end of January and I will finally receive my diploma for my masters degree.

Enjoy your day everyone!!!

Lisa...I remember how hard you worked before the 09 members cruise....graduation is in January....Congratulations!!!!! Good for you!!!!

Thank you. I thought this was kinda silly when my wife was doing this last year. But this year I'm whoopin her but! Feels great being silly!

It does feel great to be silly!!!! Glad you decided to post this time!!!!

Good morning everyone, have a wonderful day!:goodvibes

Good Morning!!!!:)

Disneyana'sAunt and gdulaney...:welcome: aboard.

We are doing the cruise after the member cruise. Is there a reason for doing the cruise before verses after? :confused3

No reason for booking the 3 day cruise before the members cruise. We had the 3 day cruise already booked...with hopes of getting on the members cruise. Looking forward to both cruises....especially being on the Dream. Can't wait.

OMG - we certainly have a CHATTY group on here! It took us THREE MONTHS to get to this many posts on 2010's first thread! WOW!

Hey - Terrie & Wally and Milford & Shawn - did you guys want to link our dining again next year? (As Ian has requested :goodvibes)

Yes, we for sure want to do that, I will have a few others that will want to join us as well. I figure we can take over a corner of the dining rooms? :rotfl2:

Yes we will be the rowdy bunch back in the corner...... :lmao:

Still working on getting logo's in signature!Someone said we didn't have enough posts. Working on that too!!:thumbsup2 Thanks Monika for answering my question.

As for the linked dining, if you would like me to coordinate this for the group I am happy to do so. Just let me know. For those interested, we can arrange to have all the DISers in the specific seating times on the same dining rotation and if there are specific people you would like to be seated with from within this group we can arrange that also. I will chat with the person that did this for our SSMC09 cruise and get all the details that are required. Once I have those details, I'll have Milford add it to the first page.

Lisa :flower3:

That would be great, let me know and I will post. I can put it on the webiste as well.

I will get the first post updated tonight, I'm only up through post 200 on Cabin Numbers and can't do that as easily on my Droid X phone.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Milford...just checking...did you receive my e-mail with our info and photo for the gallery?

Thanks so much for doing this for everyone.

I was comparing the current ships with the new ones. They do not look twice as big(83k tons verus 122K tons) but they hold twice the people. Hope they are just as spacious as the Magic and Wonder. I am sure they are but was just wondering. We last cruised on the 2008 members cruise. We have done 4 Disney cruises in total...smjj

Why, Terrie, were you luring! ;)

Maybe just a little bit

Iphone 4 is working fine for me!

Oh rub it in why don't you. Sigh...can't wait to get an iPhone...next year :)

Can you say crazy?? :confused3 I cannot see how that place would be worth it at all!! Count me out:) I'll stick to high tea for free in the adult area and I'll go to dinner in the main dining room with the rest of the little people;)

Took some of the details from the DCL site

Dinner
Boasting a French-inspired menu featuring superior seasonal ingredients from around the globe, dining at Remy is a leisurely affair. Beginning with a complimentary chilled Champagne cocktail that is prepared at your table, dinner is comprised of multiple courses. For an extra charge, Remy offers a stellar wine list in addition to a wine pairing option. Elegant touches include a tableside trolley for international cheeses, decanting stations for wines, and an after-dinner coffee service.

Pre-Dinner Service
Once dinner is booked and Guests are on board, they are invited to meet with a sommelier in Remy's wine room to taste and pre-select their wines for the evening. Please note, alcoholic beverages are available at an extra charge.

An additional charge of $75 per person is required to dine at Remy, in addition to the cost of wine and alcoholic beverages.
