Did anybody see the info on Remy? It's been updated (and is similar to the amount we'd heard last month):

Remy Reservations
Reservations are required and can be made online or on board the ship. When dining at Remy, Guests will skip the regularly scheduled Main Dining restaurant.
Online reservations are available at the following times:
• Concierge Guests: 120 days in advance
• Castaway Club Levels:
• Platinum Castaways: 120 days in advance
• Gold Castaways: 105 days in advance
• Silver Castaways: 90 days in advance
• First Time Cruiser: 75 days in advance
An additional charge of $75 per person is required to dine at Remy, in addition to the cost of wine and alcoholic beverages.

The info for Palo has been updated too....I hope they aren't raising the price!!

Palo Reservations
Reservations are required and can be made online or onboard the ship. When dining at Palo, Guests will skip the regularly scheduled Main Dining restaurant.
Online reservations are available at the following times:
• Concierge Guests: 120 days in advance
• Castaway Club Levels:
• Platinum Castaways: 120 days in advance
• Gold Castaways: 105 days in advance
• Silver Castaways: 90 days in advance
• First Time Cruiser: 75 days in advance
An additional charge is required to dine at Palo and has yet to be determined.

Wow $75 seems like a lot of money. The food and atmosphere would have to be way more upscale to get me to bite. I will stick with Palo Brunch and main dining. Though I see that they have not set the price for the additional stuff at Palo yet. That worries me a bit. :confused3

Wow this is a chatty bunch of people. I go to bed last night and you guys do a couple of hundred posts. :rotfl2:

Maybe I should try to get our dining changed - seems like most have the later dining. We have the 9:00 show I think. I was really caught off-guard when the ms rep asked me about a show time - I never had to answer that one before.

I was caught off guard as well. We took early dining but they never asked us about a show time. We have had late dining on all the other Disney cruises we've gone on but for some reason 8:30 just seemed so late this time. I have always been too full to enjoy any of the food stuff that goes on at night so I'm sticking with early. Hopefully we will be seated with someone with a child if we eat early. We've always had great dinner partners but my son loves when we get to sit with another kid.

Good morning. :wave2: My husband and I will also be on the Member Cruise. Our names are Andy and Ginny...we're in stateroom 6170 and have the late seating for dinner.

I love the idea of adding on a cruise before the Member Cruise. We did a B2B2B this year, but since we're on the Dream in August, I don't think I can talk my husband into it.

I'm still catching up on reading all the posts... has anybody found out if the Dream will have "fish" for the fish extenders?

Has anybody heard any rumors about Remy? We heard a rumor that it would be way pricier than Palo and very, very upscale.

I hope everybody has a great Monday!!

Ginny

Welcome Ginny!! I would love to do a B2B cruise!! Dinner partners of ours had done that and they said it was phenomenal to just stay on the ship and be all alone to wander without the crowds!!

Hi Eileen,
After thinking about it too, I'm sure that we will stick with early dining. If I miss the buffet, I always enjoy ordering a snack back in the cabin! How old is your son?

Wow, I can't believe the extra charge for Remy's. Don't think I will be going there. We'll have DS again so I don't want to leave him at dinner.

Yeah, Remy's is a little more than we want to spend this trip. I think we'll try Palo's first. I don't think my kids will mind if we ditch them at dinner though. They'd probably enjoy it. :rotfl:

We are doing late dining again but with the 7:00 show before dinner.

That's what we're signed up for as well.

Congrats to Willy for the :bride: and Debbie for the pirate:

Hi Ian glad you made it. We had the pleasure of meeting you at the meet n greet.:yay:

We're early dining with the 9pm show. I was talking with a DCL rep this morning and there are 4 show times for the ships regular shows. When the MS rep asked me (he seemed confused also), I thought that the 5pm show time was too close to the 6pm early dinner time so I took 9pm. I may call DVC back and see if I can switch our show time to 5pm.

We were talking to somebody we know at Palo and he told us that he'd "heard" it would be very expensive ($75-$80 dollar range) and that the waitstaff and chef would be all French, versus a mixture. He wasn't sure how that would impact Palo.... and hopefully it doesn't. He did mention that Remy was smaller and the target audience could be smaller than the one for Palo. Sounds like he might be right. If you are a huge foodie and want a really special dinner, then $75 probably isn't alot.

Where is the free High Tea?

One big plus to doing a B2B cruise.... while the ship is being 'turned over' (cleaned and made ready for the waiting masses), you can wait in one of several areas... including the Cove Cafe. Even better, they gave us complimentary coffee drinks. I don't drink coffee, so she mixed up something special, which was really great. Then I tried the Cookies and Cream drink. OMG!!!! It was so good.

Welcome aboard!!

Hi everyone! This will be our 1st member cruise but our 7th and 8th Disney cruise(B2B)!!

Welcome aboard!!

We are doing the cruise after the member cruise. Is there a reason for doing the cruise before verses after? :confused3

Because all the cool kids are doing it! party:

Still working on getting logo's in signature! Someone said we didn't have enough posts. Working on that too!!:thumbsup2

I think you need the [ at the beginning.

I'll stick to high tea for free in the adult area

High tea? Tell me more, please? :goodvibes

Boy I am trying so hard to keep up with all these posts:)
So we picked early dining but it sounds like all the grown ups are doing a later dining;) So if you do the later you still have time for everything like the shows?:confused3

Remy's does sound pretty expensive, but as you mentioned, if it's fine dining, $75 isn't too bad per person. I'd definitely want to see a menu before I agreed to book a night there though.

I'm not a big drinker, but the Cookies and Cream drink you mentioned sounded really good. What does it consist of?
