I am thinking about your idea yesterday, and wouldn't it be nice if we could have a mini meet here in the Chicagoland area sometime for us locals? Anyone within driving distance even, and we know there are quite a few from the Chicago area on this cruise. Maybe we could hit Doorway to Dreams for a mini event? Something to think about. Anything for a DVC/DCL fix lolol.

I would love to get together for anything. Believe it or not, I haven't been to Woodfield yet. Would love to see Doorway to Dreams!! I was at the "Vacation as you Wish" even last weekend at McCormick Place and had a lot of fun. That is where we added on for Aulani!!

If there is a way for this to happen, count me in. I am fairly new to this site and am unfamiliar how to start threads, etc..... But I am learning quickly. I am willing to meet on the weekends, as my husband and I are both teachers and have a 2 year old daughter. I would do anything for a little DVC talk!!!!!!! Talk to you soon.

We were at the DVC McCormick Place event last Sunday morning (10 am)! I will get in touch with DTD after my upcoming vacation and see if we can get something going for our group. We can also plan a group lunch that day after the meet if anyone is interested.

We would be so there. Just let everyone know where and when!
We have been to DTD events in the past, they have been great to all of us.

I was at the "Vacation as You Wish" also. We were at the Sunday night @ 7 P.M. were you at that one? I was just happy to get a Mickey rice krispy treat! That was well worth the $19 for parking!

DW and I would love to do a mini Dis meet in the Chicago area. Let's do it!
