:scared1: That looks soooo good!

Rum was a popular language on the last member cruise thread too

Terrie :)

Excellent! It's always nice to speak the language when visiting a foreign port. ;)

Congrats!! :thumbsup2

Thank you Karen! :goodvibes

We are new to the DVC cruise. Spent all day on phone and did secure booking for level 4A- room 9086. My husband and I will be traveling. We both reside in Chicago. I look forward to getting to know everyone better during the 11 month countdown.

Congratulations getting through. Last year was our first DVC cruise. It was a blast! Look forward to getting to know everyone too.

I'll be your partner in crime!! I'm sure all of our Dis fans would bail us out of jail if we gave them exclusive first pictures we took while the Dream is still in the shipyard! :thumbsup2

Hey, I "heard" that!!! :rotfl2:

If we can bring rum to the crime scene I'm in :thumbsup2

Oh good, I wrote it really loud so that you would :rotfl2:

I'm not even going to try for the :bride: or pirate: That way I won't be disappointed when Ian comes and steals it from me! :rotfl: Nobody's seen him on here all day...I sure hope he got the cruise booked! I'll be so :sad1: if he didn't.

Oh I know! I hope he got through. I'd be sad too if he's not on. Who the heck is going to tease me about my shark phobia all year if Ian's not going :confused3

Hi there and welcome aboard!

We are very excited, we went on the member's cruise in 2008 and 2009. Looking forward to the Dream!

I'm going to go check out the 2010 thread, but for anyone who just went on the 2010 DVC cruise, who were the special guests, what was the theme and any extra special gift?

I would think that this being the first DVC on the Dream and DVC 20 yr anniversary, there will be some special things going on.

Little bit about us: My DH and I will be there with our DD (7) and DS (8) in cat 5, late dinner. I don't post too often but lurk from time to time. My kids would riot if we did not participate in fish extender gifts, so we will sign up.

Thanks!

Calypso726 had the 99th post in thread #1 and therefore earns 1 ES!!
Susieq55 had the 100th post in thread #1 and therefore earns 1 pirate:!!! :cool1:

Congrats Terrie and Sue on :bride: and pirate: :thumbsup2

Thanks Monika! So happy to be chatting with you again!

Ok I now get the food and drink thing - thank you! :rotfl:

Yes! The oldest is a Life Scout and just finished a year of being Senior Patrol Leader. The youngest should be getting First Class in the next couple of weeks. He would have had it done last week, but he got the stomach flu. LOL They are doing calendar planning right now and I hear a big backpacking trip is in the works for this year! We're really blessed here in Oregon with sooooo many different types of outdoor activities available within just a few hours drive.

Mmmmmm! Rum! You're speaking my language!

Yes, I image you have some beautiful country around you. We have two older boys who are both Eagles. The youngest, and only one still at home, is a Life Scout and presently the ASPL.

And I agree with you about Rum being a wonderful language!!

Welcome aboard! We were on the 2010 member cruise. Ducky Williams was one of the special guests. There was a concert by Susan Egan and here is the first welcome gift

I don't know if I mentioned this on here, but we switched our October cruise to the 3 night right before the member cruise, so we'll be doing a b2b! The kids will join us on the 3 night cruise and then they'll fly home with either their Aunt Sara (who will also join us on the 3 night cruise) OR their Grandma (who is booked on the cruise but now having second thoughts)

Hello!

We are in stateroom 6074.

Looking forward to this next year of getting to know everyone. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Hello, Wife and I are in 6076, been on 4 other Disney cruises, but this will be our first member cruise and we are excited to get the booking first thing when the lines opened at 8am.

Hi Cal! Oh boy, someone from Jersey! If you don't mind me asking, where in south jersey are you guys?

Woo Hoo! Cool beans Debbie! I doubt I could talk Wally into a B2B but I am pretty sure we will wind up staying before or after or both again in WDW. Uh oh, I think there might be another add-on on the horizon :rolleyes1

Congrats on your Eagles! My boys were helping a friend with his Eagle project today actually.

Here's a pic from one of our Council camps that my oldest SIT'ed for two weeks this summer.

Wow what a great picture! We used to live on a scout reservation because DH was the ranger there. Not quite as nice scenery, but fun.
