welcome john, we are hoosiers to... Milford is orriginally from Logansport and I am from South Bend, we now live in Noblesville....

Thanks MouseFan64. My grandparents were from Logansport, and of course we travel through S. Bend on our way to MI.

We were not as fortunate in getting booked today. I called for 8 hours before finally getting through at 4pm. My CM was very nice and he felt terrible having to tell me that the cruise sold out during our conversation. Yes we were the first folks to be told the ship was full. He got us wait listed for all the catagories we wanted and did a great job in convincing us we would get a cabin from the wait list. We have been DVC/OKW members since February 1992 and we will be celebrating along with DVC. I hope we get booked early enough to be an active participant in this thread. I will add the member cruise logo to my signature with pride as soon as we get booked. Until then we will enjoy the thread while waiting to join you folks.:upsidedow

Mike and Debbie
cabin # TBD

Keeping our fingers crossed for you and sending pixiedust: your way!

Terrie,
Nice looking welcome gift...was the suitcase part of the gift too? I remember our 1st member cruise back in 2005, the welcome gifts were pretty awesome and bulky as well :rolleyes1
Looking forward to getting to know everybody during the next 11 months.

Yes it did. This was the suitcase.

Ok it looks do-able. Now, how to get Wally to agree to it :scratchin

So I am excited about talking to new friends as well as my old cruisin' buddies. And thanks Terrie for keeping count on the :bride::bride: and pirate:.

I will be happy to organize the Sunrise Coffee (or any beverage) Club and make buttons for them again. Everyone can let me know when it gets a little closer to cruise time.

Me too! I'll do my best! So what exactly is the Sunrise Coffee/beverage Club :confused3 Buttons would be great! Thank you :worship:

We were not as fortunate in getting booked today.

:wizard::wizard::wizard: I'm sure it will come through for you!

: I am also an Eagle Scout, but afraid I'm far too old for the teen club, not to mention any more back-packing or rock climbing. Maybe the water-coaster will suffice?

John

Welcome to the DisBoards!! It's nice to hear that Scouting will be so well represented on the cruise! I'm hoping DS(almost)16 will be Eagle by the time we cruise, but I know he's going to need some time to decompress from his year of SPL. He was one busy scout this past year!

Thanks Shawn!
Ok a show of hands, who couldn't sleep last night ME holding my hand high! Oh I am so glad today is over.:headache:
Good luck to all who are wait listed.:cheer2:

Mine is up! And yes, I'm glad today is over, but I will hear about it forrreeevvver. You see, of the four phones we had going as we sat at my dining room table, it was my DB who got thru - and he will not stop crowing about it!! :rotfl:

Thanks Shawn!

*hands up here* Didn't sleep until 1am, had to be up at 4am to get ready to start calling at 5am. :scared1:

Wow! That's great!! Question, does everyone in the stateroom get gifts. We'll have four in our stateroom, are four gifts delivered or ...?

It could be worse. It was my 15 year old who dialed while I drove who finally got through. He'll never let me forget it either!

Sue...Sunrise Coffee Club...Michael and I would love to join you....Buttons...yes please.

My hand is up! Since I had to work today I had to get DH to call in. He's never even called member services before today  I kept waking up thinking he would sleep through the alarm, get frustrated and give up or worse yet, be on hold forever and then the battery on the cordless would die  Thank goodness he didn't give up and got us in :lovestruc

Hi Cal! Oh boy, someone from Jersey! If you don't mind me asking, where in south jersey are you guys?

Hello, we are about 20 minutes from Ocean City, where we spend allot of time on the beach, and boardwalk, packing our annual beach tags. and what part of Jersey are you from.

Hi....we live right outside Lewes, Delaware near Cape May/Lewes Ferry.

The Sunrise Coffee Club was just a group of us who were early risers who got together each morning at 6 am up on Deck 9, on the Wonder, right near the beverage station. We had some great conversations there and laughed alot! My DBFF and I made buttons that anyone who got up that early to join us got as a reward!! It was a great time and one that I will cherish always - I made some good friends on the ssmc09. I hope I can continue that tradition. But first I have to fine out where the beverage station is on the Dream!

Yes, each person in the stateroom gets a gift. You would get four of the same gift. Each day is a different gift too :cool1: They will be delivered to your stateroom each day.

:woohoo: I'd hate to have to start lifting weights in order to be able to arm wrestle my guys for the gifts. :rotfl:

Ocean City is a fantastic place - I love it. We are a little more west, about 20 minutes from Philly.

Sue, we are very early risers, needing that first cup of coffee 5 - 6 am, we love our coffee.

I never did make it up there during the 2009 cruise. Maybe this time I will.
