Ohhhh, more B2Bers! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Come on! All the cool kids are doing it. ;)

My mother warned me about the dangers of ...peer pressure :scared1: I should be wary, but then again, I kinda like a bit of danger and don't always listen to my mother :lmao:

Wow what a great picture! We used to live on a scout reservation because DH was the ranger there. Not quite as nice scenery, but fun.

Wow, that must have been awesome!! I love our council camps. We also have one right on the Oregon Coast. Last time we stayed there our Adirondack had an amazing view of the Pacific! And the ranger came by and made sure the moms knew where to find the porcelain, hot showers and the washer and dryer in case we had a wardrobe emergency. :rotfl:

We were not as fortunate in getting booked today. I called for 8 hours before finally getting through at 4pm. My CM was very nice and he felt terrible having to tell me that the cruise sold out during our conversation. Yes we were the first folks to be told the ship was full. He got us wait listed for all the catagories we wanted and did a great job in convincing us we would get a cabin from the wait list. We have been DVC/OKW members since February 1992 and we will be celebrating along with DVC. I hope we get booked early enough to be an active participant in this thread. I will add the member cruise logo to my signature with pride as soon as we get booked. Until then we will enjoy the thread while waiting to join you folks.:upsidedow

Hi...sorry to hear. Sending you lots of pixie dust :tink::tink::tink::tink::tink:

Welcome aboard! We were on the 2010 member cruise. Ducky Williams was one of the special guests. There was a concert by Susan Egan and here is the first welcome gift

Terrie :)

Terrie,
Nice looking welcome gift...was the suitcase part of the gift too? I remember our 1st member cruise back in 2005, the welcome gifts were pretty awesome and bulky as well :rolleyes1

This is our second member cruise but our 5th DCL cruise. We just did the 12 night Northern Baltic (Ballyhoo) this summer for our 33rd anniversary. We are very excited about getting on for 2011 member cruise. DH and I will be in #8066 so we're happy about that.

Looking forward to getting to know everybody during the next 11 months.

We'll keep our fingers crossed for you and hope for the good news soon. Stay with us on the thread, you don't have to wait until you get a cabin. :thumbsup2

Quote: Hoosier John! Yay, another Hoosier!!! We're from NW Indiana.

Thanks LuckyMomOfTwo. I see there are at least a few of us from IN. Our oldest daughter lives up your way in Michigan City. We also travel to the north a lot during the summer to Saugatuck and Holland, MI; and to southern IN in the "Louisville", IN area.

Others: I am also an Eagle Scout, but afraid I'm far too old for the teen club, not to mention any more back-packing or rock climbing. Maybe the water-coaster will suffice?

John

Sandy :cheer2: :cheer2:

welcome to the thread Sandy. We were on the 2005 mc and I have to say that the gifts we got there far surpassed the recent ones. We also did 09 - they were nice but not like the 05 ones.

As I guess everyone can tell, when I actually have time to sit at the computer, I chat alot! :rolleyes1

So I am excited about talking to new friends as well as my old cruisin' buddies. And thanks Terrie for keeping count on the :bride::bride: and pirate:.

I will be happy to organize the Sunrise Coffee (or any beverage) Club and make buttons for them again. Everyone can let me know when it gets a little closer to cruise time.

That's fantastic John, and once an Eagle always an Eagle - I'm sure you will so just fine on the water-coaster as a test of your agility.

Monika, that is such a cute graphic with Donald and the AquaDuck - where did you find that?

Thanks Shawn!
Ok a show of hands, who couldn't sleep last night ME holding my hand high! Oh I am so glad today is over.:headache:
Good luck to all who are wait listed.:cheer2:

Thanks for the crossed fingers and pixie dust. I will be reading the thread and a more active poster once we get the word we are on board. OKW is great and with the refurb it will be like new again.
