Ok, I guess I can stop stressing that my boys will be complaining about there being "no one to hang out with". I was laughing at the thread about teens and DCL that I read yesterday. The comment was made that there wasn't enough for the teens to do. My (soon to be) 16 year old's number 1 thing to do on our cruise, RELAX. He goes REAL rock climbing every year with his scout troop at Smith Rock State Park. A manufactured wall doesn't interest him a bit.

Wow, now I know they will get along - DS is a Scout too! He has been rock climbing alittle but really loves to backpack. Are both boys in scouts?

Wow, now I know they will get along - DS is a Scout too! He has been rock climbing alittle but really loves to backpack. Are both boys in scouts?

Yes! The oldest is a Life Scout and just finished a year of being Senior Patrol Leader. The youngest should be getting First Class in the next couple of weeks. He would have had it done last week, but he got the stomach flu. LOL They are doing calendar planning right now and I hear a big backpacking trip is in the works for this year! We're really blessed here in Oregon with sooooo many different types of outdoor activities available within just a few hours drive.
