I'm happy today - went to try and get Le Cellier for our Dec trip since it's DS's fav and I actually was able to get a 5:15 reservation! :cool1: I was hoping for something later since I think that's the day of the Merry Mixer. I just have to convince Tim to go with the Le Cellier reservation instead of the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

I love the Merry Mixer did they release the dates yet???

Woman suing Disney for negligence in boat crash

by Scott Smith
Jul 7, 2011

An English woman has filed a lawsuit against Disney after sustaining injuries when her husband crashed their "Sea Raycer" watercraft into a Disney ferry. The suit claims that Disney was negligent when they allowed her husband to rent the craft from Cap'n Jack's Marina in Downtown Disney because he was given no instruction, had no prior experience, and should not have been allowed to rent the craft. The injury report stated that the woman suffered a collapsed lung, broken ribs and back pain.

A Disney spokesperson stated that the lawsuit was "without merit" and that Disney will "respond through the court, as appropriate."

...why didn't she sue her husband?

OMG you mean no one told him not to drive in to another larger object:scared1:

No, but on the DVC Member website it gives several dates when they are NOT having Welcome Home Wednesday. I am assuming that day would be Merry Mixer. (keeping fingers crossed)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!!!
I am a Disney nut. My friends make fun of me because we go to Disney every year. That of course is why we finally became DVC members.
My DH & I have been on a few cruises, but they were Carnival. Can't wait to go on the Disney Dream!!!
Anyone know if they have Lactaid milk on the boat or if I can bring some onboard for my lactose intolerant DD?

Welcome :cheer2: this is our first member cruise too and everyone here has already made us fell at home. Our friends this we are all crazy that's why we all talk on this thread bc we are all Disney nuts. I think Ian may just be an actual nut though. :lmao:;). Oh and my DW is lactose intolerant as well. To our knowledge they do not have lactaid brand milk but I think they have non dairy creamer. But bring plenty of lactaid pills.

We turned off the A/C yesterday and it's been so nice here. It's supposed to get hot again tomorrow but tonight's sleeping should be great again.

I did not take it into consideration when I book the cruise, but the timing of this trip could very well be a saving grace for me.

Consider that the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 will be a fairly stressful time for me and everyone I associate with or live near. If I did not have an outlet to allow me to wind down afterward I have no clue what I would be like.

See, even when we least expect it, the magic of Disney comes into play yet again pixiedust:
