OK - now I hear the fireworks. I just hope the dogs won't hear them and start barking like crazy.

In honor of my first swan in a long time, I set off a nice boom, with white and green sparkles. It went up about 200 feet. The neighbors clapped and cheered. :woohoo:

With that, I think I'm going to go watch a movie!

Now that it is cooling down, it is time for a run. Got to get into cruising shape, instead of being shaped the size of a cruise ship.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'll be watching too. Have you already checked in for the cruise?

Not for the member cruise. I can't check in until tomorrow. I did check in for the cruise before though and got the 11am time. The 10:30 no longer shows up at all. I understand that if it were still an option and it was just full, that it would be greyed out.

I'm not worried about getting a good check in time for the SSMC, because I'll be on the second leg of the B2B and will be boarding before the Platinum and Concierge cruisers.

Yeah, that is definitely something to keep an eye on!!! If they make you wait outside the terminal....that's an extra 2 hours to spend at WDW or shopping at DTD or Character Warehouse! :lmao:

I just did my online check in for the 15th cruise. I got an 11:00-11:30 check in time. I already did the online check in for the member cruise the first day I was able to do it. I don't know why I didn't just do the 15th check in that same day. Must have only had enough time to do the one.

Well, we'll be in Cape Canaveral overnight, but still, that's another 2 hours of sleep or a leisurely breakfast. :thumbsup2 I think I'll wait to do check in for the SSMC until after the guys passports have arrived. The boys are being processed now and we'll go to get Jason's started this week. No rush to check in for this cruise, because we don't have to worry about an arrival time.

T If I had known there was so much to deal with when you have kids, I might have thought a little more about just having pets instead. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Just kidding....I couldn't imagine my life without my kids!!!

:lmao: I know exactly how you feel. :rotfl: It sure is different once they are grown and not living at home. You still worry though - just about different things.

We had a surprise pregnancy, followed by a miscarriage, several years ago. When I went in for my follow up afterwards, the OB asked if we were planning on trying again. I said that we hadn't planned the pregnancy, but now felt a bit "empty armed". So, we were considering trying again ... or just getting a puppy. She laughed and said that puppies were much less work in the long run. We ended up with a puppy after all. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

And even though Grumpy isn't technically "grown", I have been doing my fair share of worrying about him up at camp. And it's even harder, because there's no real way to contact him. There's no phone service up there. So, at best I'll get a message once a week when he can get a ride down the mountain and text me.
