It really is pretty cool. You are soooo right about the kids getting older and how life continues to change. Ours are 25 and 26 now, but still love to go to Disney!
Only now they use our points and go without us:confused3
We just booked a Grand Villa at OKW for our son and his friends/business partner. He will be celebrating his 27th birthday. (of coarse we use the points without them too):rotfl2:
Ours our 25 & 29 and they sometimes go with us. We have more vacation time than they do so we have more trips without them. We don't have enough points to have our kids use our points without us! Hopefully we will be adding more points sometime this year.

I know the feeling. We just added 150 points pre 3/20 to be able to spread the points around a little. Over time we will purchase another 120 points to have 270 points to pass on to each child in the future and to enjoy the heck out of until that time comes:thumbsup2

Ours are 29 and 30 and as fast as we buy them, they use them! :rotfl2:

Eventually I'd like to be able to split the points too but we only have 185 right now and will probably add 100 sometime later this year.

You're much nicer than we are! We only plan on passing along 180 to each. (Unless, of course, Sue talks me into adding on again!) :rolleyes1

I hear that they offer great incentives on cruises, especially the member cruise... ;)

Not sure how nice we are...we plan on living and going until our contracts end SSR 2054 and OKW 2057:rotfl2:

We started with 270 in 1992, so another 270 over time is the plan.

I've heard that too but I've heard you have to add 150 or 200 for the incentives an we will only do 100 right now. Just got the first ones paid!

I sure wish we would have bought back in 1992. We just bought in 2008. I hate to think of how many thousands of dollars we could have save if we had.

We have added twice to our original. The first time we added on, we financed for a year, and the second time, we got double the points and we are taking longer to pay that off...

Best money we ever spent and continue to spend. As we see prices continue to go up, paying $48 dollars per point always brings a smile to my face;)

I'd love to add on more but Tim is already asking me why we are paying cash for this cruise and the podcast cruise in Dec of 2012 when we purchased DVC so we wouldn't have the cash outlay every year. What can I say! ;)

Because cruises are expensive in the point use department! Actually seems to be cheaper as a cash outlay. :cool1:

He understands. He would probably be just as happy to stay at WDW instead of cruising but he likes it too.

Unless, of course, you don't plan on visiting WDW very often... :rotfl:
