Chicago Dismeet Itinerary [/FONT]

Saturday the 18th:


11:00 A.M. - Lunch @ Signature Room
2:00 P.M. - Wendella Boat Tour

I think 2 for the boat tour gives us plenty of time to get there after lunch. Does anyone disagree?

After the tour, THEN WHAT? Go back to our rooms, go to the Disney Store( if so, which one or both?) or maybe make the boat tour for 3:00 and hit one Disney store before the tour (We'll walk right pass it) and the other one after?!

What time for dinner? Are we still going to Greek Town? If so, what time? Do we need to get a ressie somewhere?

Sorry we haven't been around very much, lately. We have been working and out of town. Not that we aren't working when we are out of town! 3:00 for the Boat tour sounds like a better time since we will be able to stop at the Disney store on the way to the boat, instead of backtracking. How many people will plan on going to Greek Town for dinner? We would be happy to make the ressies if you would like. We vote for the original Greek Islands but are open to alternatives if anybody else has some strong feelings about someplace else. Gino's East on Superior would be good.

Everyone!

Hope that you all had a great weekend! We were busy with planting and other stuff. A very good friend of ours passed along some very good news, his nephew Matt Carpenter got THE call on Friday. He went from AAA Memphis to the St Louis Cardinals! Started at 3rd base on Saturday at Busch Stadium against the Cubs and got his first big league hit, a double in the 7th! Whilst we are not Cardinal fans, we are becoming fans of Matt's!

Got our planting done, lawn mowed, uffff ... beat!

That is awesome!! I grew up a Cardinal fan and still love the Cardinals, eventhough I am now a huge Sox fan!!

I really want the Dallas Mavericks to win. I just can't stand all that "show-boating" by the Miami Heat. Eventhough, D Wade is a Chicagoan!!

Ok, I checked the website and there is a 3:30 tour. It's the 75 min tour for those who did not buy the Groupon!

This late of a time will allow for some shopping (Disney Store Style) between lunch and boat tour.

Deb and I are in so are Wally and Terrie. I'm sure they, as well as us, don't care which restaurant. Deb and I have never been to Greek Town so we don't have a preference. Yes, please make ressies.

We once told our kids that they could not go to Hawaii with us because they did not have passports. Maybe you could tell them you are going to Hawaii

Interesting. I had Lara take my mug shot against our off-white wall with a little extra white space around my face. Then Photo-shopped it to get the dimensions they required (not by stretching, rather cutting out to the specs). Printed a test page on our color laser printer, and reduced the red a little. Loaded photo paper ... and ... it promptly melted during the fusing process. Photo paper is evidently only for inkjet printers, which we don't have any more.

Hmm ... it really only melted toward the bottom of the side-by-side photos. So now pay at the store for a photo, go to a quick print shop ... nah, I just cut out the photos and mailed them off. It was accepted and I got the passport in time for our trip!

WOW! That's cool! I was a huge Cardinals fan back in the 80s. Ozzie Smith is still one of my favorite players.
