He gets to meet the mouse and all of you and become brainwashed in our devious ways! I figure by the time we get off the ship he will be hand painting door magnets and wearing a fish extender around his neck.

:lmao:

So who gets to be the lucky ones like me and host Thanksgiving dinner at their house on Thursday?

I do, with a head count of possibly 15 :eek:

Under the weather :sick: for George.

We miss you guys! Is it cruise time yet?

Tell George we hope he feels better :flower3: We miss you too. Not yet :confused:

We miss all of you, and Wally & Terrie too! Sorry to hear about George. Hope he is better in time to eat on Thursday! ;)

We miss you guys too!
I agree! Or at least a DEEP discount at the new kennel. I think we are going to have to bring them with us and board them there next September. It's going to cost a FORTUNE, but I can't see leaving them here for three weeks. :sad2::sad2::sad2:

You might want to check with your vet's office and see if any of the vet techs do pet sitting on the side. That's what we do when my DBIL can't watch the dogs. Thye come to the house, so the dogs don't have to leave and if anything happens they are techs and cab handle it. It's also more comforting than having a stranger come to your house since you know where they work and see them from time to time.

You know we will be down at the end of March. Will we be able to meet up? I know all your vacation time is already accounted for.

ABSOLUTELY!!!! :cheer2:

I'm sure I can (twist) Terrie's arm to make a little road trip to see you guys :goodvibes

No twisting necessary! :banana:
Would weekday or weekend be better?

Weekend probably

@ Wally - That's strange....nobody ever noticed our thread missing any posts...and isn't this the only thread you post to?
@ Junior - Sounds like a plan to me!!!!

Me too! Looking forward to seeing you guys! :yay:
This is a DISNEY/FAMILY website, so I can't really express my feelings about it on here! :rotfl2: So, just use your imaginations! :lmao:

The phrase, "yeah baby yeah" a la Austin Powers came to mind :rolleyes1
My son's 11. In a couple years he'll be able to understand if I said something like that. Right now I'll say something but I can only laugh with myself.

We already woke up to about 3 inches a couple weeks ago!

And NO! Those sentences are not about the same thing!;)

:lmao:

Yes, and I have to drive through two mountain passes at the end of the week. :scared1::scared1::scared1: If it looks too nasty we'll reroute, but that'll add several hours to the trip. Ugh! :headache:

Better to re-route and add time to the drive than to end up in a car wreck or stuck in the snow. :thumbsup2

Ok, I'll be nice. :goodvibes My mom always said there were two things that you never tease a man about, his height and the depth of his snowfall. :thumbsup2

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I do, with a head count of possibly 15 :eek:

Well, if my mom's entire family comes then it's 17 people for me! But I'm sure at least five of them won't come. (Yeah, we have a real close knit family) :laughing:

ABSOLUTELY!!!! :cheer2:

:yay::yay::yay:

No twisting necessary! :banana:

:yay::yay::yay:

Weekend probably

We will be getting in on Saturday, the 26th of March so we could meet up that night OR Friday, April 1st.

Me too! Looking forward to seeing you guys! :yay:

Looking forward to seeing you guys, too! And Brandon is looking forward to meeting you guys! :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It's almost Turkey Day. I have a 22 pounder in the frig right now - I like leftovers! And I always send some home with my mom. So we have 10 this year. Will miss the older two boys being here. Hope Bobby gets to eat some turkey at least! I guess they'll have a nice dinner for them.

Gonna be a nice one here today - high around 60! Running off to mom's today!

GOOD MORNING,Eh!HMMMM, WHAT AM I DOING THIS THURS, I KNOW I WILL BOOK A FLIGHT TO FLORIDA AND EVEN OUT TERRIES DINNER COUNT:cool1: I COULD TELL EVERYONE IM TERRIES LONG LOST COUSIN FROM THE GREAT WHITE NORTH!:rotfl2:

Good Afternoon! I have a question for all you turkey cookers. I'm going to be cooking a 23.8 lb turkey in an electric roaster. Does 5 hours sound about right? (for a stuffed turkey)

You might want to check with your vet's office and see if any of the vet techs do pet sitting on the side.

A friend of ours is coming to stay with the dogs while we're at Disneyland in a few days. But, our 2011 trip is scheduled for three weeks. That's a long time to ask someone to spend away from home. When we went to WDW in 2008, the dogs stayed at Jason's parents place. That worked out well. The dogs love them to bits and were very used to being there, but still stopped eating. My velcro dog generally won't eat unless I'm around. It has to be me. We're going to try supplementing her normal kibble with some white rice while we are gone on this trip and see how she does.

I LOVE my vet, but she has one tech that I can't STAND. Oh, she drives me crazy. She thinks it's her job to educate the IPOs (Idiot Pet Owners) that come in. I was a tech before my boys were born. I've done her job. But the girl just won't shut up! I probably need to say something to my vet and just request that she not be the one we have to deal with. I can't be the only one who feels that way.

Anyway, I think my choices for the dogs are going to come down to taking them with us (which is probably going to be $1000+) or getting this puppy trained and well behaved. He's such a nut!!! He has calmed down a little bit in the past few months though. And he'll be two next month. So, maybe there's hope. If we can get him transformed into a well behaved dog, I can probably ask the in-laws to take the dogs again (we didn't have him last time our dogs stayed with them).

Whew ... I wrote another book! I guess you all now know how much this has been on my mind. :rolleyes:
