Just wanted to stop in and say how cool it was to run in to Terrie and Wally while we were at Food & Wine Fest last Sunday. We met on the member cruise in September and I just about died when I saw them walk past us while at EPCOT. We had just passed our niece and nephew who were there and then I'm like, that was Terrie and Wally from the cruise. So I had to run back and say 'Hi'.

I am missing not going on this next member cruise and all the excitement and fun you guys are having over here. But I am excited about our cruise in 2012 that we are booked on going with other friends we have met on the 2009 member cruise. Some of which are going on this cruise, Monika and Sue! Can't wait for it.

Well, just wanted to say how cool it was to run in to Terrie and Wally. And that running in to DVC'ers/Disboarders is such fun. Have a great time everyone!

Okay need help here. Working on the pirate costumes. We have the outfits and the boots. I'm going to check out hats when we are down in Dec. My husband ordered plastic swords for us. Will we be allowed to take these on the ships? What is the policy? Received info yesterday from DCL listing no weapons, obviously these are plastic. Will we have a problem? The sword will be Marty's favorite part of the costume.

Watching the Badgers vs Indiana..

We went to Purdue, the arch-rival of Indiana University.

But now-a-days I tend to root for in order: Purdue, IU and other Indiana teams, Michigan teams, Big Ten teams, and Kentucky teams. You'd think I be watching all the time with that list, but I rarely even catch a Purdue game.

We just spotted a girl passing by us who was obviously a Tink fan. I handed the pin to the boys and told them to catch up to her. She was a couple of steps behind her parents when my boys caught up to her. They just told her, "Here! This is for you." And came right back to us. LOL

The DH and I watched from a distance. She caught up to her parents and showed them. They were looking around for my boys, but they couldn't find them in the crowd. LOL It was like a drive by pixie dusting.

When I'm at a place like WDW, I always wonder if there is someone I know, that I don't know is there. You found them!

And uh oh ... I had you listed as going with us (just an informal demographic distribution I post every now and then). Now the Northeast is pulling ahead.

Terrie (calypso) has quite a bit of experience with smuggling weapons onto the DCL ship. She'll give you the low-down (as soon as the terms of her court ordered probation have expired)

We almost had something like that happen to us. One time at WDW, Caitlyn and Cody were doing there own thing. Story goes Cody wanted Caitlyn to try to pull the magic sword out of the stone. She refused, but before they walked away, someone else tried ... and was SUCCESSFUL! A whole bunch of CMs surrounded them. This was when they were giving away a vacation to every Disney Park around the world and overnight stays in the castle. Never heard what they won (or what we lost).

So I recommend everyone try to pull the sword out whenever they walk by.

Well, to throw an even bigger curve into the story, I was walking from my car to go play ICE hockey. The parking lot for the rink is along the waterfront and people fish off the pier there. As I am walking I hear a guy screaming and turn to see him and his buddy pulling the one fishing rod along the edge of the pier and to the parking lot. The guy had caught a small sand shark (I think that was the type) and was starting to beat on it with the other fishing rod. I asked what he was doing and he said the hook it had was really expensive and he was gonna kill the shark to get it back. I am an animal lover and quite honestly reacted without ANY thought at all. I was still a smoker at the time so I grabbed the line and burnt it with my cigarette. I then picked up the shark in like a hug and dumped it back into the water over the edge of the pier. Of course the guy was mad but I heard nothing he said because I was just standing there thinking about what a really stupid thing I had just done.

He hugged the shark and sent him back home to his mommy and daddy.
Someday that all grown up shark might save Andy's life, to return his act of kindness.
That single incident could have changed your whole outlook on sharks.
Maybe you should re-evaluate your negative view of sharks?
