.................... Red = Update from last posting

Thank you very much to those above who work extra to make our cruise experience more enjoyable!!!

OK, I have done a little tweaking. Please let me know if I should add/subtract your name or other details. Thanks

Nice John - I like the updates in RED. Thanks!

Thanks Terri,

Debbie is doing so much for us I might have to shorten her name to LMo2 in order to save paper ;)

I was just thinking, I believe she is also handling the B2B FE (on the prior cruise) too? As if she didn't already have enough going on. I don't know how she does it.

Thank you Debbie too!

So glad they figured it out. Please keep us updated. Still sending prayers and pixie dust.

My huband's mom's side of the family all have type 2 (including Junior), and it scares me to think that my kids are going to get it. Type 2 also runs in my dad's side of the family, but not as bad as on Junior's mom's side. If you don't take care of yourself it can do horrible horrible things to your body. I hope he gets the pump and is feeling 100% better real soon!

Thanks! Yup, diabetes is not fun at all. Not that you can tell by looking at them (we joke that DH and DS#1 glow in the dark), but my DH and his siblings are 1/4 American Indian. Their tribe has the highest rate of adult onset diabetes in the world. Only DBIL has type 1. Two out of the four of them has type 2, as does their mom. DH's paternal grandfather was also type 2. I'm fourth generation type 2 on my mom's side. It's like the force in my family. My mother has it, my grandmother had it, my great grandmother had it ... :rotfl: So, my kids will almost certainly develop type 2 at some point in their lives. My youngest has reactive hypoglycemia, so we try to make sure he always has access to snacks. It makes life much more pleasant for all of us.

great photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful pictures. So relaxing......:cloud9:

Beautiful photos!!!!!!

Those are WONDERFUL! I can't wait to see more. Thanks!

These are beautiful - thanks for sharing!
Nancy

Your pictures are amazing!!! What kind of camera do you have? I've been trying to improve my photography skills, but just haven't had the time to work on it between work, kids and planning Disney vacations :lmao:. I have a Canon Rebel Xsi.

Thanks all!! I'm really pleased with how some of my pics came out! This was the first time I really had a chance to give my new camera a good workout. I obviously need to work on learning the camera better and practice a lot more with it. But, there were some shots that I was thrilled with.

The camera is a Canon SX20 IS. It's a bridge camera, falling somewhere between a point and shoot and a DSLR and it has a 20x optical zoom (which I LOVE!!). I debated long and hard between the DSLR and this one. But decided that I wanted to really learn the ins and outs of using a camera like this one before plunging into a DSLR.

I made a promise to myself that I would really try to learn to use this camera and work on my technique before the SSMC next year. I'm so excited to try this camera out at Disneyland in 23 days!!

How is everybody? Wow, I have much to catch up on! :surfweb: It took a while to get out of this crowd....:crowded:...but it was worth it :)...That's why it took so long to get to the computer. :rotfl:

Good thing you had a super-wide angle lens for that shot. Looks like the city closed down for the celebration. Congratulations SF!

Well, after looking again, maybe you didn't take the photo. It looks more like it's from someone in the media, to have a perch like that over the crowd.

See there, Terri figured it out right away. Why do I always assume when I see a photo that it was taken by the poster? I've gotta get used to this forum-thing.

I think I can see Jennifer's family way over on the right side of the picture?

These are easy:
(1) last cruise 2007 - food was very good, but not great. Will dining be the same? (I weighed 320 last cruise, 180 now - would like cruise to help me find the lost weight)

(2) Is there a convenient place to ship items home from port (or WDW)? Not sure if we're driving or flying.

(3) Still haven't figured out signature - guess I have till September

Thanks

Russ (will be celebrating DW's birthday and our 40th anniversary)

I gotta agree, the people on this thread are awesome :grouphug: and will really add to the fun of the cruise itself! Halloween time and Christmas time, like early and mid December (not Christmas week or after) are our two favorite times of the year to visit :thumbsup2 I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Terrie :)

Mmmm... Coffee!! :surfweb:

Just getting mine :) :surfweb:

Hello everyone, hopefully everyone is having a great Wednesday. I wanted to let everyone know that I have your emails about the request to be on the website. Sorry its taking me so long to get them up, been very busy the last 2 weeks, but I am now on vacation for the rest of this week so I hope to get lots of updates made to the website. I am also working on a way that everyone in the future will be able to submit their information on thier own through a form, more on that later.Any way I am on vacation but I still have to get some stuff done around the house and have to go teach this evening.Everyone have a great day!:cool1:

Thanks for all your hard wor, but you need to rest too ! :flower3:

Great job keeping all that straight John.

:teacher: Thanks for keeping track. :goodvibes

Here are some more pictures.

This was at DTD. I like performance art and decided to take a picture with a "statue" who soon discovered I was ticklish

Hi Russ,
1) I would expect the food to be very similar. Did you partake of your dinner rotation in 2007 (Animators, Tritons, and Parrot Cay), or did you skip dinner in favor of other restaurants? Again there will be Palo, finer adult dining for a $20 upcharge. Plus there will be an even more elite restaurant, Remy, French inspired cuisine (upcharge of $75 per person).

2) I have read about some on here who have shipped items in advance to the ship. They have a system where they hold your boxes until your cruise, where it magically appears in your stateroom with your luggage. Think I have this right. Others will have to help out with specfic details.

We have once shipped a box back home from WDW resort. Here we got a box from the gift shop, borrowed tape, and a marker to address. I think they handled shipping and billing for us. They were not very well set up back then (at Old Key West) to do this, but we got it to work. I'm not sure about arrangements to ship boxes directly for the ship. I'm sure there is something arranged.

3) What are you looking to put in your signature line? Just your name, a time ticker, or images?

PS. I HOPE you don't find the weight you lost on the cruise, and definitely not all on ONE cruise. I could stand to give up a few pounds if you want them.

Hi Everyone! I've been super busy with work and you all look like you've been super busy typing!

Kris and I found out that we're late dining with the 1900 shows. We're just so glad to be on the ship, I didn't really care! We signed up for the FE exchange...is it September yet?? I'm ready to go.

I saw above that there is a Paulo brunch on this cruise? Awesome! We were hoping there was one, we plan on eating dinner in the dining room each night on this trip and deciding which restaurant we can miss for our Dream cruise in October..

Can't wait!

ALL THESE DUFFY SHOTS, IM GOING TO HAVE TO BRING AN APPROPRIATE DUDLEY TO WDW NOV29th to DEC6th:thumbsup2
That would be quite the Dudley...:cutie:....BTW, I see you're quite the :joker: so I somehow stumbled upon these:

Have fun at WDW! Someday, I will be there, I will...at WDW...

Diabetes can be quite challenging. I do hope he gets the help he needs.

Actually...;)

To the left side of the white tents that are also on the left, we felt like we were in the middle! :cool2:

On the left! :rotfl:
With a Mac, you can do all the fancy stuff, still trying to get used to it....I use "copy image address", it's easier than downloading to photobucket, then editing then pasting. :)
