Here are some pictures of the Tree House Villas that we promised George we'd take. They are nice and roomier than I expected but the transportation situation here sucks rotten, smelly salmonella infested eggs  If you have your own transportation and everyone can fit in one vehicle and you don't mind driving then it is ok. It's very secluded feeling too.

Thanks for the great pics! Looks like you can fit a LOT of folks in there! What does the sign on the bunk bed say?

Thanks for the pictures! It does look quite accomodating. Too bad to hear about the transportation arrangements. Some of that is probably the price for seclusion, but a very important tip for the rest of us in the future. Sounds like a better place when you have your own transportation. Lara has talked about getting a group of people together and checking out the Tree House Villas, so this helps with our planning. I think, at least some of them, hold up to 12 people.

I'll bet it explains how to use the top bunk safely in about 10 easy to follow rules (approved by their legal department).

:)Thanks for posting the pics.. We have talked about holding a Kumbuya fest there with various branches of our family. We usually use WDW transportation so that might be an issue.. Good info though!:thumbsup2

For those of you who will be at WDW this coming Saturday November 6, 2010 (George, Stacy, Wally, Terrie, my wife Sue, and any others who might be at WDW this weekend) there is a benefit sale at Downtown Disney. There are items available at up to 75% off! Here is a link to explain it all: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...P=SOC-DPFY11Q1TwitterDisneyParks01-11-10@0013

And I hear that they are arranging special early buses to DTD Starting at 4:45 AM

Thank you very much for the info, M & N Potter!

You must be 48” to ride. Keep your arms and legs inside at all times. No flash photography is permitted. If you are pregnant or have a heart condition we recommend tHat you notify an employee to safely escort you off of the ride.

Sorry, can't help myself LOL

Seriously, its a bunch of warnings about safety and using the right sized mattress.

:rotfl2: Good one!

Only 3 more sleeps (and DREAMS) before we are in WDW!!:yay:

I could be more excited, but I am doing my best to be somewhat reserved...

Does anyone name their GPS? We did her name is Sheila. When we miss a turn I swear you can hear her disappointment with us;)

We call ours "Shirley" as in "surely you don't want us to go that way?" We actually orginally named her for my exwife because our GPS was a tad on the "strident" side. (read strident as in word that begins with a b and sounds like rich) :scared1:

Here's the parking/room lowdown @ treehouse villas. You can only park 1 vehicle in the the lot. The rest of our party parked their vechicles @ SSR. Also, to get anywhere on Disneys transportation, you'll have to take an intenal "treehouse villas" bus to SSR's Grandstand bus stop and hop on your final destination bus. So when you need to get back you'll have to do the opposite (there's a north and south bus stop @ treehouse). Coming back from MNSSHP on a bus literally took us just over an hour (we had a couple of scooter riders and a rathe long line at MK after the party). treehouse is excellent for large group of people. There's a grill outside, 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with queen size beds, the third with the bunk beds. What is NOT cool is there are ONLY 2 full baths.

Thanks!! It worked!! He got the two weeks we had to have and the other two we wanted. He's got four weeks off in a row! :thumbsup2

Now I just have to nail down all our details and make my DVC reservations. :woohoo:

4 weeks in a row  I don't think I'd ever want to go back to work after a whole month off!

LOL Someone once freaked out when I mentioned that he gets four weeks leave (although it didn't start out that way). I had to point out that he doesn't get holidays, three day weekends, and (because the leave weeks run from Sun to Sat) if he wants a specific weekend off, he has to take TWO WEEKS off to get it. :headache:

That's a bummer to get a certain week-end off. At least he got the time off you wanted.

off to sleep ... have fun all ... Dan should be posting a youtube vid of the Dream float out that I (Michael) found last night ... hugs and kisses to my sibs ...
