Dan & John - way to go on running up the post counts with actual substance in the posts!! :thumbsup2:lmao: Dan congrats on the :bride: & pirate: :goodvibes I managed to get doubles once on the 2010 thread, too. :woohoo:

Since I'm new here this year, I had only heard that it had been done before but I didn't know who (all) had done it. Good job. It must be very hard to do, with all the lurkers out there?

Good morning every body. The boards just came alive. I am just finishing Tears of the Sun. Guess I'll try to get some shut-eye before Laran rouses.

Wally, where were you last night? I thougt you'd show up during Dan's quest for a Double.

Trying to finish up with all of my clients before heading out to Disney. These 20hr workdays are brutal, so I had to get some sleep ;)

Dan, Congrats on the Double :thumbsup2
Thanks! Glad you were safely asleep.:cool1:

Congrats Dan! Great job!

Enjoyed reading about the British, their food, and their round abouts. What a pal John for helping him out. :thumbsup2
Yes he was not only interesting, but a big help as well! Glad you enjoyed it.

It was fun. I stopped posting when we got close, in case Dan added a couple while I was typing. After a few minutes passed with no response, I started thinking he FELL ASLEEP at the computer.

He was probably waiting on me to make one more post, but then went ahead and finished them off.
I was, and I did. I was far too excited to fall asleep!

Thanks, and good for you! That is tough to do... I think it takes a little :wizard: and pixiedust: to do that! (well those, and a tired Wally!)

Good Morning all- You have no idea how surprised and excited I am that this waitlist came through!

I guess I should do a little introduction-

I'm Tammy- ( tammymacb ) I'm married in live in Charleston, SC. I'm an ER nurse. I own my points at Disney's HHI resort as it's my favorite. I've sailed the Magic and the Wonder in the past.

my sis ( who said she'd join the thread this weekend ) is Kristen ( dvcnewgirl) She lives in Williamsburg, Va and a teacher. Her DVC homes are HHI and BWV. She's also been on the Magic and the Wonder.

We're also booked to sail the Dream in Oct 2011 with all of our families. This is a girls only sisters trip and I can't wait. I love my sis... :lovestruc

We're in room 10000. Cat 5A.

I have no idea which dining show times we have. I guess we'll find out when our confirmation arrives.

I've signed us up for the FE exchange! :thumbsup2

I've got a lot of back reading to do....but I've got some time to kill, too..

Have a great day!

Hi Tammy,

I have been unofficially tracking what state everyone is from, so I'll add you to the list and post it later, maybe after Kristen has had a chance to post.

I think we will do the FE too, but will leave that up to my wife to decide. We've never done it, but it sounds like a lot of fun (and probably another suitcase?)

Everyone here is very friendly. If you have a question, feel free to ask.

You should have an easy time remembering your room number!

Wow - great costumes. You're gonna make our "home made" costumes look pretty dull.

Good Morning everybody!!! So excited, one more sleep until we go back to Disney World  Well, I never was able to convince Wally to dress up as Kick A$$ for Halloween and the rest of our party won't dress up either. So it looks like it will be just me and Duffy in costume  At first I was thinking that I didn't want to be the only one in costume so I wasn't going to do it. Then I decided I didn't give a flip :snooty: and am going to do what I want because I want to and not because of what other people are doing or not doing  So, I went on the hunt for a Hit Girl costume. They are SOLD OUT everywhere!!!! No costume store in south Florida has them, Ebay stores were backordered until mid November and every online store that came up in the first few Google pages were sold out  This did NOT diappoint me, it simply made me want to find it even more :lmao: After searching every which way I could think for it online, I finally found an obscure costume store several pages into Google that did not say sold out :yay: I had it overnighted and now am working on making it more authentic looking :rolleyes1 I went to the Army/Navy surplus and got some LC-1 Y back miltary suspenders and a tactical utility belt. Fabric dye from Michael's so I can make the suspenders black. I got the gloves and after work am going on the hunt for combat boots :thumbsup2 I decided not to go looking for a pair of Katana swords because they'd probably get confiscated :rotfl2:

Good for you. Can't wait to see the picture!!!!

Nice to meet you Tammy. So glad you and your sister are joining us. I'm Terri and will be sailing with DH Tim and our friends that live in Orlando (he works for Disney security). We've just been on the Wonder for a 3 nite cruise last year and loved it. I was so psyched that I was able to get us cabins. We own at BLT.

By the way, I made it though babysitting last nite. DGD was pretty good but the new puppy and older cat kept me on my toes.

Having a waitlist come through is probably more exciting than actually getting through on call in day!! YAY FOR YOU!!! And for it to come through so early!!! I know last year somone's waitlist came through a month before the cruise. That wouldn't even give me enough time to get ready!!

OMG, I'm so stuffed...Had a Halloween Potluck and I think I tried everything. :goodvibes

Kinda long story here, but Halloween seems like the time to tell it?

Several years ago my wife and I took an evening walk thru the next neighborhood, past a house which had just had a gas explosion killing the lady who lived there. We stayed on the opposite side of the street, where we were greeted by a baby kitten. This kitten ignored all the kids playing in the yards and followed us, on those little legs, all the way home (probably a half mile). At first I kept pushing it back with my foot, but it wouldn't stay. I began to think maybe its mother had been killed in the explosion.

When we got home, we gave it some milk. Our Blue Chow really liked playing with it. She would get the cat on its back and nuzzle her nose into the kitten's belly. The kitten still had claws and needle-like teeth which it used to bite the eartips of the dog. Poor Jasmine's eartips had been bitten so much hair wouldn't grow there any longer. Eventually we found someone to take the cat thru a friend who has several cats. We dropped off the kitten and all the supplies we had boughten with our friend, to give to her friend.

Jump forward a few years. Now we are living in SW Michigan about 200 miles north of our previous house. I heard on the news that another couple had just been killed in a house explosion, probably less than 20 miles from where we were living. The couple had just moved there from Indiana.

Jump forward another year. Met up with our friend in Indiana who had found the new home for the kitten. After some discussion about our lives during the time we had been apart, she tells us that the people who took the kitten had moved to Michigan, and were killed in a gas explosion!

Spookey, eh? I figure that blood line of cats had an affinity for chewing on gas lines.

The only good thing is, I don't think my wife will ever want to pick up another stray cat (I'm not really a cat person).

I would say stay away from GAS :scared1::scared1::scared1:
