By the way, I just noticed you have a 4 year old DD. Laran is 4 also. It didn't hit me until you mentioned the "4T" size outfits. They will probably find each other in the kids club.

John - - -We are recovering ... City crews are out again today en mass clearing up parks and other public spaces ... it looks like that the clean up will take quite a while.

It was a big storm ... Your friend may have been from either Manitowoc or Sheboygan. Sheboygan is south and east of us and Manitowoc is pretty much striaght east. Both are on the lake and about an hour away.

That's it ... Sheboygan. (For some reason when I started typing it, I began to think Sheboygan was in Michigan).

By the way, I was thinking along the same lines as Dan was a few days ago. I suppose I could understand misplacing a tree that size, but to completely lose it ???

i think there is a town in Michigan that a similar name.

Kelly, if you don't mind would you please correct the times below for the whole day (probably several others are interested too):

12:30-3:00 pm AquaDuck is Open. (Also have seen hours as 12:15 to 2:45. Wear swim gear onboard)---could not find this info.
1:00-3:30 pm Palo & Remy Bookings and Dining Assignment changes (D Lounge, deck 4 midship).----yep
1:30 pm Allowed access to room for first time (luggage should arrive before 5:30 pm).---correct
Just to check, there is NO early party on deck any more?---nope.. just 4:30pm
3:00 pm? DisBoard Meet and Greet (check current DisBoard discussion).
3:30-4:30 pm Palo & Remy reservation and dining schedule changes via phone (7-1831 / 1832).---yep
4:00 pm Mandatory muster drill for all passengers (except for those who just sailed B2B?).---correct, NOTE...you do NOT need to wear your life jacket, however it is crucial that you bring your KTTW card to your assembly station...ALL ship services will be suspended between 3:45-4:30pm
4:00 pm All Aboard.
4:30-5:15 pm Adventures Away! Sail Away Celebration, 45 min (arrive early if you want a good seat).
4:30-8:30 pm AquaDuck is open.
5:00 pm Cast off
5:00 pm Early Show in Walt Disney Theater, 3 & 4 Forward (The Golden Mickeys).---on my particular cruise, the first show started at 6:15 pm with the second show starting at 8:30pm. We also had a "special matinee" performance of Disney's Believe.
5:45 pm Early Dinner (consult Key to the World or Tickets for Dining Room and Seating Time).
6:00 pm Gift shops open with Ltd Edition DVC gifts for sale (usually sells out by end of cruise).
7:00 pm Middle Show in Walt Disney Theater, 3 & 4 Forward (The Golden Mickeys).
7:45-8:00 pm Bingo.
8:15 pm Late Dinner (as a courtesy to your table-mates, please be on time).
9:00 pm Late Show in Walt Disney Theater, 3 & 4 Forward (The Golden Mickeys).


Also, they do give ship tours. 1:00pm and 2:00pm tours. Meet at the Port Adventures Desk, Deck 5 Midship.

To change dining assignment...1:00-3:30....D Lounge, Deck 4 Midship and 3:30-4:30....dial 7-1831/1832

That is all I have!!! I am expecting things to go a little different since it is a Member's Cruise, but hopefully, this helps.

That is excellent, Kelly!!! Thank you so much. I know we're on a different cruise, but this should be very close to what we will see, and is the best we have for planning.

Do you remember what time you ate dinner? Just wondering if it starts the same time as the shows?

Oh, and what time of night was your Pirates In the Caribbean party?

Good morning my fellow DISpeeps!

I just returned from the Dr. and he seems happy with how the surgery went. I have some minor restrictions as expected, but I am clear to cruise with no worries!!! <=== BTW, that is one of my restrictions... LOL

I will meet with the Physical Therapist this afternoon to make plans for my rehab. The doctor said they would be able to give me some stuff to do while I am on the trip so that should be fun.

I got a bunch of magnets done yesterday and will try to get the gift tags done this afternoon/evening. Tomorrow after work I will need to get everything together that is going on the trip. Because of the quantity of what I am bringing vs. a weak and healing knee, I will be shipping down a box and that will be given to UPS on Thurs. Wow, it is amazing how this has suddenly become "real" instead of planning. I can't believe how soon I will go from dreaming to Dream-ing <=== Not a restriction so:

Andy, I'm sooooo happy to hear that you got a good report from the doctor! Hopefully you will feel great by the actual time of the cruise!

We had late dining, it was at 8:15pm. Main dining was 5:45pm. Shows were 6:15pm and 8:30pm.

Dropped my DD off at Pre-school for the very first time a couple of hours ago. It was harder on me than Lilly. Is it bad that I told her if she didn't potty in her pull-up, I would take her to get ice cream??? I am really hoping she didn't potty!!

you can do all the bribing you want. It works most of the time. Let us know how it goes. I'm so glad I'm finally done with that. How old is she? Julianne is in PreK this year and 4. She will be wearing Princess dresses probably during the whole cruise. Several dresses a day probably. That girl changes clothes 15 times a day. And that's after school. I may run by the disney store this weekend and get some new clothes for the trip for everyone so we have disney wear.

Im jealous you are doing the wine and dine. My sister and I did it last year. Theymessed up a lot of things. But, I'm sure they learned from that. The year before my husband and I did the Wine and Dine 10k. But, the medals are awesome. My sister and I are going to Disneyland for the Tinkerbell half marathon in January. We already have tutus.

well, it's a spandex pant thing with the tutu attached. My sister found them. I was just looking online and if I do another race at Disney World next year, I get a 3rd medal for the coast to coast challenge. I may have to go down for the wine and dine of 2012.
