Very Hot!! But it was a good race. The place was empty though.

We thought that as well. There were large sections in 3 and 4 that no one was in and then a ton of empty seats on the front straight. I'm wondering if it was the economy or has NASCAR lost some it's shine?

Well, junior works in crown point delivering pizza's. I work in merrillville, the next town over. I didn't know you were familiar with crown point! I love the downtown/square, soooo much history! Three of the people I work with went to crown point high school and still live there. Sort of like many people from Hobart...most of us never leave.

Next time you're gonna be in crown point make sure to let us know and we can meet up!

I grew up in Park Forest, Illinois. At one point I worked for Carson's and was selected to be the receiving manager at the new (at the time) Southlake Mall store in Merriillville. It was a great day when the store opened. Being a history geek, in High School I did a history paper on Dillinger and went over to Crown Point to do some research. It became one of my favorite places to explore.

The next time we get down to that area (after the cruise I think) we will certainly let you know and meet up for a meal or something. That would be an aewsomesauce time!
