I joke with people about this all the time. When they ask me why we homeschool I say it's so we can take our Disney trips when it's cheaper and not crowded. They think I'm kidding, but partially it's true. We're fortunate that I can do this so we have the freedom to do what we want. Not to mention that ds is a late bloomer and would have long ago been shunted off into special ed because he's a late reader and his over all language arts skills are let's just say-- um-- atrocious. He's smart as whip though, so it makes me crazy when he can't do some of the assignments I give him- the same ones his sister whipped through when she was a year or two younger. But I'm digressing...
(Have to get the post count up...)
Really- I have to study for the chem final. I'm bringing homework on the cruise- biology. I'm buying the book and hoping to learn enough on my own to test out of the class. I wonder how much biology I'll learn after drinking all those liquored-up coffees and fancy-fruity things they sell on deck.
