ooohhh julie, biology, that was my fav subject in school!!! How I ended up in Accounting Ill never know.

Sorry I may have missed it but what are all these sciences classes for?

Will you let me have a peek at your biology book?

The classes are to go to nursing school. I have a Master's in US History with subfields for teaching in European and Women's History, but the job situation is bleak for such a great degree. In the city where we live, working part time as a registered nurse on the weekend- especially weekend nights- can net substantial $$$. Plus- when the kiddies are out of the house we're thinking about going to Appalachia or somewhere like Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan or to Africa to do medical missionary work.

I had a total science block in high school and hated it. I regret that attitude now because I'm loving chemistry- I find it so interesting even if I don't get it all 100%. I have bio, two anatomy and physiologies, a nutrition class (after the cruise I'll need it to teach me to eat normally) and microbiology before taking nursing classes so it'll be a long road as I take one class a semester.

Today is almost done, so I am sooooo close to only having 21 days left! I am soooooooooooo tired! I knew when I left the Navy that N.A.V.Y. stood for Never Again Volunteer Yourself. But yesterday I volunteered to open at work and I got stuck working open to close. Not a lot of fun on a friday at a bank. My hair is even tired! I need to go veg out in front of my TV. I will check in later.

Amazing Julie!!! To continue educating yourself with the intention of giving back to others, purposeful (is that a word?)!

I go to work to fatten the pockets of shareholders and it leaves me feeling very empty. My job is a method to provide for my two loves that bring meaning in my life. I hope one day when they are older and less dependant on me day to day that I will be able to change my career to something more rewarding.

Same here. I had the choice of a 8 am or the 11 pm flight. Well I picked the 11pm flight. Just one day earlier! So instead of starting our vacation at 8 am the next day at the in the air, we will start it by landing at 8 am in Orlando! Oh yeah, who's thinkin ahead! That would be me! WOOP! WOOP!

PS you all have it wrong about the doc thing it is not whoever gets them first that foots the "bill" it is whoever is the last one to get them! Otherwise if you have to foot the bill it takes the excitement out of getting them first! HAHA (PS you wont really have to foot the bill but it is fun pretending like the loser will have to!)

Sorry I ahven't been very chatty. Work is crazy and getting these boys ready for college is keeping me busy and sad. I brought work hope with me and am trying to do this and it at the same time.
