OK guys I must now close out requests for PALO group brunch...As long as everyone who PMd me is still in, we are at our MAX. If you did receive a PM from me please get em that info as soon as poss as I am plannig on gettign that info to my contact ASAP this week. Although, once again we do not know that we will get the room until they review the requests at 30 days out . Those of you booking this weekend, keep that in mind when you make your personal brunch ressie. Please aim for a Thursday brunch if you have already commited to the group brunch BUT if MON is the only thing you can grab, then grab it. JUST let me know ASAP!! If that happens, and one of my yesses has to bail out on me, ladies we may have to drag our DH's along.

I'm in, I'm in, oooh Boy, I'm in. Don't forget about me...I'm in. O.K. I'll stop now :teeth:

If this is your first cruise, how have you already booked? This is my first cruise and they won't let me book until July 3rd. You must be in cat 1-3.

Castaway Club members (i.e. previous cruisers) were able to book from 90 days out. If you're a first time cruiser, you had to wait an extra couple of weeks. Also, remember that if anything you want is booked up (like Palo reservations, etc.), they hold so many spots open for people who wait until they get on the ship. So, once you board, anything you couldn't get online, head straight for guest services (or Palo for reservations) and they'll very likely have spots for you.

This is my 3rd cruise and the first time I have ever booked anything in advance. If you don't book in advance, you may have to be a bit flexible on the times available, but hey, you're on vacation!

Have fun planning and enjoy the cruise!

I may be miss reading the post, but I read GaCruisers' post as saying that this is their first cruise and she has already made ressies.

Please Help!!!!

I tried to put a ticker on my signature line and it didn't work. Does anyone know what I did wrong?

Guys,
I am sadly reporting that I will not make this cruise. :sad2: I just sent an email to the TA to cancel. Today I got laid off from work. It was sort of unexpected but at the same time I had a feeling it would happen. In fact I told DH when we were on vacation that I hoped to have a job when we made it back. There wasn't really much work in my department since they were not getting awarded the projects, therefore I had nothing to work on and was helping others.

I will put all my energies in finding a new job. Amanda, I designate you to follow through with the button design/order. I will email you the actual design page since they require a .pgn format. The vendor is rockbuttons.com I will also send you a list of everyone that ordered it.

Hope you guys have a great time and sip some margaritas on my behalf. I will be looking forward to reading your trip reports.

Me too! I am sure there will be other cruise opportunities but I am mostly sorry that I don't get to meet all of you fine people.

Ilonka, I am so sorry about your job and cancelation of the cruise. I will also miss not getting to meet you as well. Best of luck in your job search and I hope you wont desert us here at the 9/16 double scoop!!!

Sirena, I am sorry to here as well, I was looking forward to meeting you also. Yes, it is our first cruise and we booked a cat 2 room. I'll give a little background on why we were able to get to do this as it is not our normal way to spend money. My mom passed away in Feb of this year. It was sudden, she was only in the hospital a couple of weeks, and my dad passsed away back in '99. Me and my mom had always talked about taking a family cruise together when she retired and she was able to retire back in Nov of '05. So about a month ago I got access to the estate and since I am a only child I decided to go ahead with a cruise and booked on Disney, I knew it was the Best, and decided to take my DW's mom and dad with us. They have never been on a cruise before either, and since it was 7 of us we decided to go ahead and just get the one suite. I am sure this will not be our last cruise but it will be our last Cat 2 unless I hit the lotto. :)

I am so sorry to hear you're not coming :sad1: Just when we were getting so chummy. Keep your spirits up and don't forget to pop in and say "hi". Good luck on getting a job! We'll be pullin' for you! :grouphug:
