Below is the list of cruiser I have complied in attempting to keep track of who might want to take part in what. If I have a person listed who is not cruising with you please let me know. Also, If I mannaged to miss some one please let me know. Some of you have PM me to let me know you want to come to the lunch on the last day at sea to help celebrate our anniveraries, bithdays or whatever. I will confirm that at a later date. I'm just visiting to let everyone know I saw all your kind notes.

My FIL just yesterday agreed to start chemo tomorrow (friday). He had been wavering back and forth so much between homeopathic and traditional medicine that we were all quite fustrated. We cleared our entire year (2007) of travel so we can be with him if this is his last "good" year. My spouse was gonna take family leave and all that - and we were just gonna make the best of it with him. On top of that her Mom is not all that well either... but that's another story.

Our hope is that if things go well then our FIL will be either in good shape or less than godd shape by next year in Aug 2008. I'm holding a cabin for him just in case he can make it... we've been told the odds are slightly better then 50% in our favor.

Aside from that - I see a couple of others have either booked for our same 2008 voyage or were thinking about it. I'm not sure which it was.

If things went really well this year there remains a chance we'll resume some vacation travel of a normal sort... and DCL on this sailing remains a good time for us to travel... and a good time to celebrate our wedding anniversery which was always the main reason to travel on the Magic.

So - we wait and see. My spouse is going to her Dad in a couple of weeks to look after him as he will be in the 1st month of chemo. Our understanding is if he has any difficulty with it - the "complications" and "difficulty" will manifest in this month and we want him well cared for and we want a set of eyes for on site observation from family. So my spouse gets to go for a bit.

I'll swing by from time to time to just be nosey....

I guess not much new going on. We are getting ready to have our hard wood floor refinished. We live in a home built in 1941 and the floors are in sad shape. We had to find a place for two cats, three dogs and two humans to live for a week. Then we have to take every thing out of two bedrooms, a living room and dining room/ office. We only have trwo weeks to prepare for this work. So I'm going to have to count on the rest of you to help keep us on page one during the week I am kicked out of my house. We have to be out for five days then we have to have time to put it back together. Boy I'm getting tired just talkig about it. Gotta rest, Lois

Well seems that things are going really well our way. We finalized the menu yesterday and megan is gonna work on the invitations today at her moms house. We were somewhat worried about not being able to come on this cruise but i think we kept the wedding close enough to budget that we should be ok. We are within 3 months now. Of course i need to work on a few things like being more affectionate and not being such a laundry nazi but for the most part things are very well. We will definitely need a long vacation by the end of all this. I think we might stay at a bed and breakfast for a few days after the wedding and just relax for a few days afterwords. At least everything is in motion and now it is just maintenance. Megan even created a website for us on www.theknot.com in case anyone wants to check it out (Patrick McConville & Megan Alexander, sterling, VA). It says a few things about us and our day. Well gotta get back to watching joey. See everyone soon.

We booked this cruise last fall. It will be our first cruise ever, so getting a lot of great information from the boards (as usual). We're previous DVC owners and have been to WDW 7 times in the last 9 years. Our group consists of myself, DH, DS (9), DS (8), MIL and FIL. I'm an overplanner, so have become an addict to these boards. Looking forward to seeing you all this fall!

We're toying with going down a few days early to hit the new stuff at the parks that have opened since the last time we were there. Thinking about booking that awesome $125 deal at Swan/Dolphin, never stayed there before. Any suggestions on how early we should take off on the 15th to get to port? I don't want to miss anything. My in-laws will by flying in separately on the 15th and take the DCL transfers to port.

We are actually staying a few days AFTER the cruise.....
I have stayed at the Dolphin before when they had a similar promotion. I did like it and especially the easy access to MGM Studios and EPCOT.

As for getting to the port, everyone has their own opinion. I love being there early...that is just me....I want my cruise day to start as soon as possible! LOL!!!! I suggest arriving by 11am. Time to hang out and not too much time to have to wait. JMHO.

Since the Plan is to WDW before the Cruise on the 8th I don't think we will do anything but crawl home after this cruise. I think I will be so rested I will need to go back to work to recover. This is going to be awesome. We have plans to take a whole month off from work. Hope we can pull it off. Lois

We are so excited about the cruise.....soon as we tax return back we can pay it off! LOL!
I know we get to book stuff 105 days out, so I got to figure out when that is! LOL! I have to get our Flounders ressies! LOL!

NICE!! Good for you for being able to do that. Wish I could! Although if I did, I probably couldn't go back afterwards!
