Thanks Dave, but we are in the 1-4 inch range right now. But the weather guy keeps saying it is early and the predictions could change. Living where we do, we still could get quite a bit of snow yet before winter is over. Those 60 degree days earlier this week really got me in the mood for Spring.

Have a great day everyone!:flower3:

We were ready to fall of the first page!:scared1:

It is a sunny 33 here now. But the wind is something else. My weather bug says it is 21. oh Well.

Have a good day.

But the sun is out and the wind has stopped. So to me it is a good day.

I'm doing good flo - thanks for asking. Just got home from the doctor for checking my coumadin levels. I'm right where I should be so don't have to go back for a week. I also made an appointment for Monday afternoon with the oncologist. So I should know more then.

Got a call from the President of my company thing morning to see how I was doing which was very sweet. Got blown away this afternoon with a floral delivery from my client in NJ! We also had a visit from one of Mark's cousins to see how I was doing. So all in all a pretty good day.

Mary,
That is great that you got the coumadin levels were they should be.;) I am sure it also feels good to know you don't have to go back for a week.

It makes you feel so good when someone like the President of the compay calls. Also, you must be treating the client the right way they miss you. And a vist by someone.

I would say yes you had a good day. :)

Take care. :flower3:

Ok! It’s official! My DH and DS are sick. My DH went to work and was back home by 10:00. He has been in bed since he got home. Everyone by him is getting sick. This is the second time around. Now my DS is getting it from DH. I am hoping that it skips me. Not sure that will happen. DS is going to bed soon. So it is just me and the dogs.;)

Have a good evening.

Mary, I'm glad to hear that your coumadin levels are stable! I'm so impressed that your company president called to check on you and that is so awesome that your customer sent flowers.

Good morning everyone - happy Friday the 13th! :scared1:

Flo - sorry to hear that your DH and DS are both sick. Hope you stay well.

Sad news out of New York with the plane crash there. My prayers go out to all involved. :sad1:

Morning and Happy Friday!

Mary, I agree it is so sad about the plane crash. When I turned my computer on this morning and say that I thought I was seeing things. My heart goes out to the Famileys.

Well DH stayed home today (like he should have yesterday to begin with) but DS went to work. He is also a lot younger so he can handle it better.

Have a good day!

Where I live we are in the 3-5 inch range. Yuk!!! :sad2:

Greetings all!

The good news is I'm home! Feels good to be in real clothes instead of a hospital gown. I've got Lovenox shots I need to give myself for the next 2 days and then go get tested on Thursday to see where the coumadin level is and what adjustment is needed. Dr. said I will be on it for about 6 months.

Bad news is the path report came back and some lymph nodes had cancer so chemo is in my future. Not what we were hoping to hear and it has us both a bit down which is why we haven't posted until now. So another challenge to face but we'll face it.

All your thoughts, prayers, etc. have really helped. Thank you all. I'm truly blessed to have so many caring about me.

Welcome Home Mary! I did not read everything. I just wanted to skim the post to see how you were doing. I am glad that the surgery went well. I pray that you will not have to undergo chemo for too long. You and Mark will continue to be in my prayers. Have a good day.

Greetings from AKV. There are three zebras grazing outside as I type this. It is so peacful standing/sitting on the balcony. Now there is a giraffe eating lunch. I have not been on the boards. I am way behind on reading the posts. But, I am glad to read that Mary is doing better. Courtney and Flo, so sorry to read about your falls. I hope the both of you are feeling better.

This is our last full day here at Disney World. My how time flies when you are having fun. I wish I had another week. But, if I spent another week here I would not be able to go on the cruise and I do not want to miss that. We are getting closer to that date so I have that to look forward to.

I met Joanne (Boosgram) and her DH briefly as we were headed to the bus stop. It was good to see them. She spotted Corey first as he is not hard to spot since he is 6'5. It was good seeing them. We chatted briefly and I introduced her to the family. I was hoping to run into them again.

Talk to you later.

Hi all, sorry I have been MIA so long. Have had numerous things going on.

First, Mary, I am so sorry I missed that you were out having surgery. Our thoughts and prayers our with you through your recovery time. I haven't gone back and read the thread, but it almost sounds like you had surgery the same time I did (but mine is more minor). My shoulder still hasn't healed from the two car accidents last year from when people decided to hit me (none my fault), so after a few MRI's, months of physical therapy and cortizone shots, etc., they decided to go in and see if I had a partial tear in my rotator cuff because they couldn't quit tell on the MRI's. Good news is they ended up going in only arthroscopically and they cleaned out my whole shoulder and got rid of some calcium and did some minor stuff. So, now I only have to go to physical therapy for 6 more weeks and I can't lift anything with my left arm (and I'm left handed) until then. My surgery was on February 2. Took a week off work, on drugs and the week flew by.

But now I'm back trying to get caught up. And I can type! Trying to watch what I'm doing though.

Our daughter, Jamie, will be at the National Drill Team Championships in Orlando the first weekend in March, so I will be in Florida from about March 4-9. If anyone is going to be around let me know and maybe we could get together for a meet!

I know that a bunch of my friends are running in I think it is the princess 5k or 1/2 that weekend? I think it might be on Saturday, which is the day I'll be offsite all day at drill team stuff, so I'll have to wait and see what the schedule is. I'm staying at Coronado Springs Resort.

Okay, work to do.

I'll try to check in more regularly!

Oh! I do agree sitting or standing on the balcany at AKV is so relaxing. When we did the 3 day / 4 day we stayed there. I loved it and would like to go back.

That had to be fun to meet Joanne and here family. Corey is 6'5. BOy is he tall.

Enjoy your last full day there.
