Okay, here's a question.
Do car rental companies have shuttle service from the port to the rental company? I can't seem to find that info anywhere.
Last year we were able to go on a Hawaiian cruise and every port we stopped in there were shuttles from at least 5 car rental companies picking up renters and taking them to the rental cars. So I was hoping they do the same at Port Canaveral.

I know Avis and Budget do for sure. There might be a few others but I'm not 100% on that. We've used Avis a few times with great success. Mark would drop me and the luggage off at the port and then drop the car off at Avis and ride back on the shuttle. Same thing after the cruise. He'd grab the shuttle while I waited in the pick-up area with the luggage. He'd soon be back with the car and we were on our way.

CC5 is the code for Cape Canaveral for Budget and P3F is the Avis code.

It is rainy and chilly in the Boston area. I month ago I was on the Wonder after spending a wonderful day at CC!! I wish I was there now.

I lived in Scituate for about 6 months back in 1989. What a beautiful town. I forgot the name of the street, but we were right on the seawall and beach. I think a storm went through there a few years later and really damaged the area I lived in.

Hope you stay warm this winter in that beautiful area!

Last fall I lived in Ohio and was dealing with the icky-cold-winter-is-coming weather.

Now, I'm living in FL and WOW! I'm LOVING the sun and warmth!

We have lived in South Florida since 1991 and have never regretted moving here. It can get a little windy at times We have learned how to live without power for a few weeks. (generator is a plus, gasoline to make it go, priceless!).

I hope Paloma doens't hit CC. We were there just last Friday and we love that place. Our thoughts are there with the island in hopes that it is not to devastated by the storm.

Here is an update of our weather today: highs in the 30's and snow flurries ALL DAY LONG. I don't want winter yet! I just kept thinking about being on CC with a margarita in hand. That is my happy place. But I know, we have a lot of winter left because it is just beginning here in Iowa.

I with you. I don't want winter either. But like you said we have a lot of it left. It is 36 here now with a high of 40 tomorrow and snow flurries. Oh well. i have also lived in IL to know expect any thing from day to day.

Wow! We looked at a house with a rent to own just before the no name storm in 1989 but since I grew up right on the water, DH and I had second thoughts about it and could not be happier. Once that storm in October hit, there was nothing left of the house. I am far enough away that am ocean storm won't destroy my house but close enough for a 10 minute walk.

It looks like they may actually catch a break! The forecast for the storm has changed, it may be raining on CC, but the storm itself is now predicted to dissapate before they get there.

We are in Delaware....about 5 miles North of Rehoboth Beach and about 40 minutes from Ocean City, MD

Each Waiter can accommodate 18 guests. The tables for each station are 8, 6 and 4.
