No worries Dave. I know there are a number of you who are booked already but don't have your room numbers. I'm so glad you and Tanya are sailing with us again!

BTW in case you don't know if the manascarfan name gets a pirate: it is Dave's but if it gets a :bride: it is Tanya's. :lmao:

How convenient right;) ...:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am very happy to be traveling with everyone from previous cruises, as well as meeting new friends.

Annmarie,

Let us know when you are able to rest because you called DVC about your Reservation Number.

One more thing I wanted to add. As you can see by the number of past cruisers who stopped by on booking day and after to cheer everyone one - we really become a bit of a family on the thread.

Thanks to Mimi, Dan, Nancy and everyone else for being so supportive. Of course a great big thanks to Gary who is keeping track of our pirates even though he and his lovely wife Gail won't be sailing with us. The 2008 group was fantastic just as I know this group is going to be! :grouphug:

Thanks for the kind words, Mary! It looks like you're going to have a great group! Don't worry - we'll be there in spirit. Just put an empty chair or 2 in the water at CC & think of us! Who knows - we might show up on a members cruise again.

Question time:

I know the meet is at the Beach Club so that is were I was thinking of staying, but at the same time I have always wanted to stay at the boardwalk. How close is the boardwalk from the Beach Club? As far as points they are the same.

Also, if we do the day before the cruise can we leave are car (if we drive) at the hotel while we are on the cruise? Don't think we will say the day after not sure about that. This way we can take the party: bus

P.S. Does any one know if I get charged the 95.00 to do this.

I am hooked on the DIS!!!

I have a little free time as I am out on a short leave from work.

After spending some time searching the DIS I now know.....

1. What a fish extender is and what if looks like. Count us in! Good think I have 10 months to prepare as I do not sew.

A follow up question: Will we know in advance how many people are participating and especially what kids are participating. I read on page one that we would get a list at the DIS Meet. I just want to make sure that would just be an 'official' final list. I can tell from the pictures I found on the DIS that you people are serious. I have to start thinking about all this now and get shopping. Always have my eyes open for special trinkets for birthday parties now I have to start thinking SSMC.

2. What the User CP is and how to add a signature.

For the record, when creating a countdown on another site and then adding the code, which code are we supposed to use? I read that we do not use the HTML but there were several other options. I just kept copying and pasting stuff until it worked.

3. I will definitely need to purchase MORE points as I anticipate becoming a regular. I am already enjoying this and it has only been 2 days since I booked my first DCL. It's great to find other Disney PHANATICS. And yes, that is spelled correctly......at least for this PHIGHTING PHILLIES PHAN it is.

Questions:

Regarding dinner times. My kids and I are booked for late dining. When we are at WDW we tend to eat later and thought we would probably be doing the same. I figured we would be so busy with all the daily activities that we would not want to interrupt the fun.
Any thoughts? I assume we will be able to get snacks to hold us over.

When we are at Castaway Cay what time do we have to be back on the ship?

I have lots more questions but will end for now.

Best regards to all!

I'll tackle these two.....we're early eaters. Love main dining. We like to do "dinner and a show" in that order. We aren't huge excursion people, so it's no problem getting back to the ship and ready for dinner by 5:30/6:00. We prefer to eat, see the show, then grab a snack if we are hungry (or even if we aren't) I also don't like going to bed on a super full belly. Reflux issues and all. Plus when we sail with my mom and dad (which we do a good bit) she is a diabetic and needs to have a set schedule. Early works better for her too.

But that's just us....I know many who love late dining. Which is good. Frees up more main dining spots for us. :)

As for all aboard time from CC, I'm pretty sure it's about 4:30. :)

The Beach Club is a short walk around the lake ................... As for leaving your car you may need to call the Boardwalk and ask.

We'll go home after the cruise, but will be available for meet and greets and photo shoots.

HA!

Michael,

Thanks for the info on the 95.00. I was hoping there was none.

Also, maybe we will stay the day after the cruise to. then there would be no problem leaving the car there I am sure.:)

Also, more Disney time. Can never have enought of that.

During the year I will post how many are doing the Fish Extenders. About a week before I hope to havethe final count. Then I will post that to. You will get he list with the room number when we get on board at the meet. If you can't make the meet jsut let me know and I can drop off in the room.

So when my Fellow DIS friends PM there info pleae let me know the number of children (if any in the room) ages and boy or girl.

If I missed any thing let me know.

Hi:wave2: FaithTrustnPixieDust
You don't have to sew. The Fish Extender we made took about an hour to make and no sewing involved.
