I just entered the reervation number the CM gave me and the website states: "Sorry, there's been an error. Please correct the information below to proceed. Reservation not found. Please re-enter your reservation number and birth date."

Is there any other way to check the reservation. Reservations closed at 10PM. UGH!

Did you use points? You can at least check the DVC side of things on their website, don't think they put the DCL res number there.

Yup! I did that Mark. It shows the points were deducted but that reservation number is DVC not DCL! I even repeated the number too!

Oh No Maybe you reversed the numbers when your wrote them down? Not sure if they all begein this way but mine begines with 2332. I just put my number in on the site and I got through. Since they are closed for the night I would call in the morning. But I now I would not be happy either, expecialy since I would have to waite till tomorrow morning to do any thing.

Annmarie - which birthday are you putting in? If you are putting in yours try Tom's and if you are using Tom's try yours. That might be the problem.

I was amazed on how fast they took those points out! I think they had them out of the account before we got off the phone.

don't let it keep you up. As long as DVC has you booked you are booked. Right now there isn't much you can check on the website other than names and dining time. That will all still be there in the morning.

I think I saw that you were looking for info on staying on Deck 5 aft. So far, I think that was my favorite place that we stayed. Now, granted, my experience is quite limited (2 cruises on Deck 7, one on Deck 5), but I really liked Deck 5. There's not much traffic or noise and it's so convenient to a lot of things. I'm betting you'll like it, too. We booked a Cat. 10 on Deck 2 for the members' cruise.

It is so great to see so many new people. I hope everyone stays around and gets to know everyone. I think those of you who have been involved with cruise groups in the past know what fun it can be. Everyone is different however so I expect some people who popped in on booking day won't be seen again and that's ok, but those who stay might just make friends for life.

Whether this is your first cruise or you are an experienced cruiser join in the fun. Ask questions, answer questions, share your planning and share your days. That doesn't me we as a group will do everything together. Some people are afraid of that. Far from it. Except for the DIS meets most times the group won't gather, but what will happen is you will start seeing DIS friends all over the ship. Some you'll run into all the time (people tend to get into grooves where they are doing the same things as others). Others you may run into in the halls or on the island. A smile, a wave, or stopping and sharing a few minutes of conversation. It all makes for a great cruise experience.

I think it was Flo who said she still corresponds with some she cruised with in the past. We're the same way. I still post regularly on our 2006 cruise thread and many on that thread we sailed with back in 2004. For example Karen (ohiominnie) and I first met on the DIS back in 2003, this will be the 5th time we've sailed with them and I consider her one of my best friends.

One more thing I wanted to add. As you can see by the number of past cruisers who stopped by on booking day and after to cheer everyone one - we really become a bit of a family on the thread.

Thanks to Mimi, Dan, Nancy and everyone else for being so supportive. Of course a great big thanks to Gary who is keeping track of our pirates even though he and his lovely wife Gail won't be sailing with us. The 2008 group was fantastic just as I know this group is going to be!

Something I forgot to post yesterday. We made our hotel reservations for before and after. Original plan was to book Boardwalk (our home) now and switch to Beach Club at 7 months. I got a studio for the two nights before and a one bedroom for after. I booked preferred since that is the same points Beach Club would be. I was able to get a Boardwalk view for both. So after talking it over with Mark we just might stay at Boardwalk.

Thanks. Yes, it ws me. YOu know how you get into a rut, well that is were we were wit hthe at 6. I told my DH maybe it is time for a change and we may find that this is a great location. I also told him that I would rather try this on a 4 day or less like we are doingthen on a 7 day.
