Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

I'm about 1/2 way done with the taxes. Didn't spend as much time on them the last couple of days as I thought, but I think I'll have them finished today.

Called and canceled our May trip yesterday. Sad, but really for the best. We've also canceled our DVC search for Hawaii for 2010. That was more just because we aren't 100% what we want to do in 2010. We may be taking a DCL reunion cruise with some friends who have a daughter getting married on it. These are people we've sailed with in 2004 and 2006.

Mary,

The reunion cruise sounds nice. Especialy with a wedding on it. Would that be a 7 day? That would be real nice.

No it is a 5 night Wonder cruise with 2 stops at CC and a stop at Nassau. We haven't been to Nassau since the '03 Member Cruise so that would be fun.

Being at a wedding on the cruise has to be great. We saw one when we did the LA Cruise in 2008. It was so neet to see. How exciting.

I have to share!

I am excited. I just made my reservations at the Boardwalk for the night before the cruise. I am so glad I called. I wanted a Boardwalk view and they did not have any left. I am put on the waiting list for a Studio. So as of now I have a preferred view.

They asked me if I wanted the dinning but I don’t think for one night I will do that.

I really liked the new end of Spaceship Earth. Mark had some "fun" with it in our last visit.

We celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary this October. We met at a sci-fi convention.

Met with the oncologist last night. I'm going to be doing 12 rounds of chemo over the next 6 months. So sadly we are canceling our May trip. While the doctor said he should be able to do it we both realized I would most likely not be up for a road trip or for being away from home in the middle of this treatment. Chemo won't start for a couple of weeks.

Sorry you had to cancel your May trip. We'll be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through your chemo. Hopefully, you will respond well and all will be great again. The September cruise will be here before you know it!

How cool! We stayed at the Boardwalk for the first time last October and it was great! We didn't have a Boardwalk view either, but we didn't care, we were on the Boardwalk! I really didn't mind our view though. When you looked out our sliding doors we could see the entrance to the Boardwalk. That was pretty cool to me. And, we weren't that far away from the Clown Pool! I hope you enjoy your stay there. I know we did.

Thanks Chris! I figure for one not it does not matter. But I put us on the waiting list because the points were the same for either view. So I figured if I could get a boardwalk of someone cancels why not.

I also wanted to tell you I found some great rates to Orlando on Air Trans out of Midway. It was 83.00 one way with out tax. I think for the two of us it was less then 400.00. So we may just do Midway. It is a little far for us but that is ok. We could even drive and park are car there. It is cheaper to do that then take a limo. Now at O’Hare it is the other way around.

I am excited to because I have always wanted to stay there.

Welcome back from your trips to WDW. Sounds like you both had a good time. Can't wait to see your pictures! You know, now matter how many times I've seen something, I still love to see it again. So, anything you have will make my day!

This September we will be celebrating our 19th Anniversary . We dated a year, and lived together for two before we got married. So, we have been together a total of 22 years. Time has gone by so fast. I can't believe it. And I couldn't imagine life without him.

Congrats to you Flo for 31 years and you Joanne for 35 1/2. That is terrific!

Thank you for the welcome back. Pictures will be posted soon. My parents left for home today so I will hopefully have a chance to sort through them.

Ok, I am very tired and don't even know if I posted yesterday. Just want to let you know that Mom and I had a great time Monday night. And I went to work yestereday. And it took everyting I had to get through the day. Today I sit through a seminar all day, so now I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Flo - congrats on getting Boardwalk. That is our home and we love it there! We have a Boardwalk view studio for before the cruise and a Boardwalk view one bedroom for after. We usually get standard view so this is a nice splurge for us.

Thanks Mary! I have always wanted to go down the slide at the Boarwalk. I just love the clown's mouth. it is so different. I wish DCL had a adult slide.

I do have a question. How can you get to Downtown Disney from there? We are not going to go to the parks because we will not be getting there till about 1:00 or 2:00.

Also, I want to thank you for finding time will all you have going on to keep the members photo up to date and posting the weeks on a Sunday monring. It is appreciated by us.

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been around. I need to go back and catch up on some of these posts. Things have just been a little crazy. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed lately.

For anyone who was wondering - Courtney and I were at the doctor yesterday and she got her long-arm splint off (which she was happy about....it was VERY uncomfortable!) But she still has to wear a wrist splint for two more weeks. It is much more comfortable and she has more freedom in it, so she's happy about that.

Hopefully when we go back in two weeks that will be the end of that. I REALLLY, REALLY hope!

Mary - I have been thinking about you a lot. I hope that you are doing alright. I did notice that you had to cancel your May trip. I'm so sorry about that. But you probably made the right decision. This Sept. cruise will be a HUGE celebration for you and we will all be part of it!
