We were home by 9:30 this morning. Being as we had not eaten for 3 whole hours, we had to stop at McDonald's to grab more food
The Fish Extenders were so much fun for us. We really enjoyed coming back to our room and seeing how creative all of you are!. We hope everyone enjoyed the tubes of glow stick bracelets we sent out. I will try to do something more creative next time! If we missed anyone, please let me know! I will be glad to mail them to you.
As for the Cruise, we had a huge setback on sunday morning when my stepfather (DSF) passed out. My mom called me, and I had her call 911. He was admitted to the hospital. At 1pm that sunday he was insisting that we still go on the cruise. He was doing better, the stroke workup was negative, so we drove up through blinding rainstorms and barely made it onboard. We arrived to late for the meet at 3pm.
I will admit, we kept a low profile for the cruise, I missed having my parents on board to share everything with them. I used the "Cellular-at-Sea" service a lot. I'm not excited about seeing that bill. So to make this rambling story short, my DSF became the proud owner of his very own pacemaker on Tuesday. He was released from the Hospital on Wednesday.
We are going to get together now, The DVC club gave us all of their gifts to bring home to them. I am also giving them the FE gifts!
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet everyone. But thank you all for making our trip more memorable with the FE's!
Hey Barb and Ray!, I hope you made it home safe. I will be dreaming of Palo dinners!
Ravonne
Oh, Ravonne, I am sorry you had a hard time on the cruise, but I am glad your DSF is ok!
