I have heard that you have had nothing but storms, and rain and thunder and lightning lately! Sounds like Florida, but we're not having the tornados! Not even hurricanes! (yet)

Mark - I am glad I am not flying out today. I can't even imagine how backed up O'Hare has to be. Even Mid way. I would not be a happy camper.

We have finally shaken the hot and muggy stuff. It is beautiful here today and much drier, hope it lasts thru the weekend.

Just had a funny call from my DB. First off, it scared me because he NEVER calls me during the day from work, so I thought it might be about our mom, but no, she's fine! So he was helping a friend at work plan a Disney trip that he leaves for next week. He had Dining res. made and was figuring what parks to do when, and so DB was trying to help with how to get to and from! So since I was sitting right here, I got him the info he needed. He didn't anticipate though how to get back to his resort from a restaurant if parks were closed and Disney Trans. was finished running!! Alot of people don't realize that and get stuck some place.

Funny story - it happened to us once! We decided to have dinner at the Rainforest Cafe just outside of Animal Kingdom when the park closed. Well, service was horribly slow and it took us forever to eat. As it was, we were practically the last ones out of the restaurant. When we walked out of the place, the parking lot was absolutely empty - no cars no buses! As we had never done this before, I wasn't sure how we were going to get back to OKW. Thank goodness, one of the Disney buses, who was actually finished for the night and was just chatting with a friend in front of the cafe, saw we were upset, and said he'd give us a ride back (there were 10 of us on that trip) since it was kind of on the way!! What a great CM he turned out to be and we were very grateful!

I am always afraid of missing transportation and I end up being extremely early My DW is the opposite and she always waits until the last minute, someday this will happen to us!

You know, when we were out there, it never even crossed my mind that there wouldn't be transportation. But we were so long inside, and then of course, being the farthest away from OKW as we could, didn't help! I would have hated to have to pay for a cab, no two cabs with that many!!

seemed like the bus took forever to get to floridian. it took us over an hour to get back
