When I was putting him in the bath I said I should have taken a picture.

Marsha - this is my favorite!!!!!! My Mom always made me a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting for my Birthday. And to this day, yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

That is my dad's favorite cake. Chocolate on chocolate is my second favorite. I really like strawberry cake.

Absolutely! I really felt like you are a friend, Marsha. It was great meeting your family; they were so sweet (and mostly tall! I've gotten pretty used to the sensation of standing in a deep hole: DH is 6'4" and one of my DSonILs is 6'7".).

Everyone is chatting about their favorite drinks in those posts. I could use one right now.

Took my self off the meds, All they were doing is making me swell, and lowering my blood presssure way to low.

everytime I go to the doctors office..i have doctors idis, if you know what I mean, my pressure goes through the roof. I have been off them about a month, now swelling is gone, I am starting to feel good.

Doc thinks I need them, I don't, I take my pressure all the time. its always good except when I go see him. I need to learn how to control my pressure myself. I get worried and it explodes.

I have FMS (fybro) you know ache all over. except i am in the mild stage. I need to lose weight to control my pain better. it was my specialist I saw today..blood pressure was up, I told the nurse it was a little high. and then she took it and it had dropped drastically, 138/82 I thought that was good since it had been 160/110 just 20 mins prior. Usually its 128/ 70.

Actually there is a name for your blood pressure to spike while at the doctor's office. It is called White Coat Syndrome. My blood pressure goes up too.

I know, how frustrating!!!!! Last week I took youngest DD to the Dr. for her physical for athletics at school. Her appt was at 9:45. We got there about 9:40, finally called back to the room at 10:30, then waited in there till 11:00! I was so infuriated. I had left work at 9:30 to meet her there and I needed to get back to work. It is like our time is not as important as their's. Trust me, if they would have taken my blood pressure, it probably would have blown the little machine right off the wall!

Chris - I fully understand. I have now started asking is the doctor on schedule today because the last time I had to wait X number of minutes. The other one that usually works if they are running late . . . . if the doctor is running late can you find out if I will need to do any lab work because can at least get that done while waiting for her. I know they don't like this but if I tell my boss I'll be in the 10AM meeting but don't show up until 10:10 I am in serious trouble.

I too had a long wait at the doctors office yesterday, but since this isn't the norm for him I just took it in stride. Having my iPhone helped as I was able to read and reply to some messages on Facebook and I even got to check the Dis.

Those facebook games are so addicting...I need some sleep! I usually take a little nap when I get home from work, but now I am on that darn computer playing games! I need more stuff for my farmville.

I love chocolate cake with any icing...YUMMMEROOOO. That's why I don't make it...I would eat the whole thing. It's touch living with a diabetic DH, he won't eat it and I will.

If they keep raising the rates on luggage, I might have to ship my clothing to the hotel...it might be cheaper to buy my luggage a ticket soon. How much more are the airlines going to do to raise fares?

My boss is off for a few days. He is doing the Ironman competition...I had to look it up. He is a former Navy Seal and it is a triathalon. YIKES. I can't imagine doing that.

DGD told her parents at the dinner table, "Well, my grandma is going to take me to Disney World and then she is going to take me on a cruise to see the ocean." To which her dad replied,"You're not going on a cruise...I haven't even been on a cruise"....we'lll just have to see about that

Susan,

Were did you hear they are rasing the price of luggage on the air lines? I did not hear that. Now I have to go check United. In fact United is giving a 4.00 discount per bag if when you check in on line you check your baggage so they are in the system. Guess what we are doing.

I think right now the people that are taking Southwest are the luckey ones. They still don't charge. But for us the price was about the same for the tickets.
