I printed out our two door signs and also did the cover for our road trip book.

I am curious about your road trip book! Is it a place for you to put all the necessary info about your trip? or more like a travel journal?

I am curious about your road trip book! Is it a place for you to put all the necessary info about your trip? or more like a travel journal?

Our road trip book holds everything we need for the road. Mark does custom maps for the way down and back showing the exits we need for our overnight stays. I also put copies of all our hotel reservations in it. In addition I'll go online and get a print out of Sonic and Chick-fil-a locations on our route. All of these are put in sheet protectors so they are easy to get in and out. Even though we know the route pretty well and don't really need the maps it is good to have.

As for a travel journal I also keep a small notebook I bring with. This has some notes on where to stop and not to stop on the way down (based on past years). Like our favorite gas stations and ones we felt were rip offs. This is where I keep the receipts for our gas and we do a spreadsheet showing our gas milage for the trip. I also use this notebook to keep notes about the trip that help me do my trip reports.

Whew! Finally read through all of the posts. I got sidetracked when I had to put some clothes in the washer. Doing is so much fun (yeah right). Then, I got sidetracked and started playing Rock Band with DH & DS. DS enjoys "playing" the guitar.

I had a thought - wouldn't it be really cool if the big secret is that they are going to let us be the first to book, like on the maiden voyage, of the new ship, Disney Dream!!!

How I wish. That would be great!

My dh was busy priming our entrance and family room walls yesterday...and I am getting ready for our garage sale today, we'll have it next saturday. Whatever $$ we make is for our trip, for little extras!! Hope it goes well!!

I'm cleaning out the storage area in the basement, and putting stuff away etc... how exciting! And of cours-e there is the never ending laundry!!

But my hubby did say he'd be on kid patrol so I could get the kids packed today. They have more clothes than my hubby and I combined, so it shouldn't be a problem to get them packed up this early. I'll be doing our laundry the day before we leave!!

I found Flo on facebook- is anyone else out there? It's kind of nice to see the pictures and stuff....

Well I feel like I've gotten some things done today. Laundry is winding down.

I've also updated my FE list. I have a few other friends I need to add to it. Plus I wanted to get counts of kids in various ages. Our main gift is one per family, but we are doing some little things for the kids as well. The main gifts are all done (had to do a few more) and the kids things are all bought and just need to be packed up.
