We had a great time. As for bands:
Friday started with Blarney (our favorites and we've been seeing them for years). Great basic Irish Folk and they are a lot of fun.
Tommy Sands and his children. Again very good and this was our first time seeing them.
Red Hot Chilli Pipers - think Off Kilter but wilder. They have three master pipers and really kick it up. They were great but we could only stay for part of their show.
Brigid's Cross from Ohio. Another fun band we've seen a number of times.
Saturday we chilled into mid afternoon at the hotel and got there in time for Blarney's 3:15 show. This time the second half was with some friends from Canada and they were a riot. Turned a good Sea Shanty into a Snow Shanty that was very very funny.
We then saw Dargle from Ireland. They were good but we had to leave when their young groupies kept standing right by the stage and shaking their hips.
We ended the night watching part of a performance by DRUM! from Nova Scotia. I was pretty worn out by this time so we didn't stay for it all.
In between there were baked potatoes (mine with butter and Mark's with stew), roasted corn, lots of shopping, a visit to the cultural area, a visit with the Irish dogs and just all around having a good time.
PDFG and all our friends who need it.
