Good morning everyone. Sounds like some great plans for the weekend.

I am planning on leaving work a little earlier and meeting Mom to go to the casino, Its crab night Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.:thumbsup2

Tomorrow DS and girlfriend are taking her mother and myself to dinner and then to see Hairspray at the Fablous Fox. Its a early mothers day present.:banana:

Sunday will most likley be :laundy::laundy::laundy:

Have a wonderful day..its going to be a warm one here...maybe 95

Sounds like fun. I haven't been to a casino since I was in Vegas last May for work.

We're going to Jacksonville, FL to see Wicked on Sunday. This will be our second time seeing it and we are taking my friend who lives in Jacksonville as a 50th b-day present. We are also taking about seeing it for a third time in Tampa next year.

What a great birthday present. We haven't seen the show but two years ago on the Member Cruise the girl who was the lead in Los Angeles was part of the entertainment and she sang some of the songs. Beautiful. Enjoy!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm sitting here enjoying the Red Sox game.

My only real plans for the weekend are that tomorrow morning my new dishwasher gets delivered. Other than that, it is supposed to be a great weekend: 70's maybe 80's. So I think that I will find a dew errands to run so that I can enjoy the weather.

Congrats on your new dishwasher. Enjoy the nice temps.

Hi all, hope everyone is going to have a wonderful weekend.
Barb & I are going partial camping with my brothers on Carlsbad Beach until Sunday morning when we just might have to go to Disneyland.

Ray I hope you and Barb enjoy your camping and a trip to Disneyland sounds like a great way to cap it off.

Good Saturday Morning to Everyone!!!

Well, it is going to be a great weekend here in southern NJ.

The kids and I went to the post office on Thursday and got all our paperwork submitted for our passports. :cool1: Finally!!!!

I took the day off yesterday for the Race for Education at DS's school. I brought DD also and she had a blast. She was misting the kids with the water bottles and trying desperately to operate the hole punch as the kids ran their laps but her little hands were just not strong enough. We were there from 8am - 3pm.

There is a carnival in town this week Wed - Sat. You can buy a wristband for $40 and the kids can attend everynight with unlimited rides. So we have been there 2 of the 3 nights so far. We will be back tonight.

DS & DD both have ball games at 1pm today. DS of course will be watching from the side line since he has the broken arm. :sad1: He wasn't even allowed to participate in the Race for Education yesterday. He has been so disappointed missing all his activities.

DS's soccer team is having a family soccer game and picnic tomorrow since it is a bye week for the team. We will also be attending that activity.

And, some time between all these activities I will be getting house and yard work done. I hope. Have already done 1 load of :laundy: and heading outside now.

Have a great weekend with the camping, shows, new appliances, margaritas, and the GREAT WEATHER.

Oh, and as for the things we want to do at Castaway Cay.....

DS and I hope to go parasailing.

I would like to do the cabanna massage. Can anyone tell me how much time to set aside for the massage? I want to get an idea so I can plan accordingly for the kids.

And, this may be a dumb question but how do meals work while at Castaway Cay? Are meals at Castaway Cay included as part of the cruise? I have never been a cruise before let alone a DCL cruise. Since CC is a Disney property I was not sure if that was included or a separate cost.

Appreciate your feedback.

Wow, you have a very busy weekend! Have a great time!

Wow, Sandi & I will have to check out the Adult beach for lunch.

On the Castaway Cay activities discussion, I am trying to decide whether I want to do a cabanna massage (which I did on my first DCL cruise) or just have a massage on the ship. Such tough decisions! :rotfl2:

Thanks, we will. This will be the second time we've seen it. It's a fabulous show and I really like the music. I listen to the soundtrack at least once a week on my drive home from work. Not sure what part if Iowa you are in, but Wicked is going to be playing in Des Moines beginning 9/23 until 10/18/09. For Christmas, we gave my partners Mom and Aunt tickets to see it in Fort Myers and they loved it. We will probably go again in February when it returns to Tampa for a third time (third time for us also). I say if you get the chance, go see it.

WOW! Sounds wonderful. We are about an hour north of Des Moines and I have seen that it is coming this fall. I hope we are able to attend because like Mary said, while on the 2007 members cruise we seen the girl who was in Wicked and she was AWESOME!!!!!! My whole family enjoyed it very much, so I am sure we would also enjoy the whole thing. Just wondering though, have you read the book? If you have are they similar?

Sounds like a fun and busy weekend planned for you! Glad to hear you got your passports going. I work with passports and we just got notified that they are taking 4-6 weeks to process again. They were taking 3-4 weeks. Have a great weekend!

Sounds beautiful out Monika! We were in the upper 80's yesterday and today we will be lucky to hit 60 and it is rainy! :scared: I just want nice weather all the time.

Thanks for answering about your kids! I'm sure this fall will be very different for you without Amanda around the house all the time. I can truly wait for that.

Have a Super Saturday everyone! :flower3:

Well while I was sitting around this afternoon enjoying the weather (all my doors are open to get some air in the house), I decided to start playing with the '10 points charts to see how long I can take my nephew to WDW. Well, it looks like we can do 10 days in a 1 BR at all resorts except BLT. So hopefully he won't pick BLT. :rotfl2: Actually, depending upon the resort that he picks I probably could do another day or 2 but I don't want to set the wrong precedence for his sister the following year. :rotfl2: With my luck, he would pick OKW and then she would pick BLT and I would be stuck explaining why her trip will only be 2/3 of the time as his trip.

I've not read the book. I have a copy of the audio cd, but haven't listened to it. I read somewhere that the people that wrote the musical didn't attempt to copy the book.

One of these days I need to get back to Iowa. My mother is originally from Northwood, she's in Maryland near Marsha (BigDogHU75). Most of my Aunts and Uncles and a boat load of cousins live in and around Mason City.

I went to college in Mason City! I lived there for a little over a year from the fall of 1985 to the fall of 1986. It was fun. Especially going over to Clear Lake for party nights! :lmao:

It is a small world that's for sure.

That was very strange. We went down to Woodridge to see Mark's Aunt and Uncle. We took our DVC jackets with us just to help keep the rain off. When we left there house for dinner we left the jackets in our car. Went into the restaurant and it was in the 70's came out and it was in the 40's and we were all freezing. Crazy weather day.

Sounds like a fun evening out. Glad you enjoyed it!

Good Sunday Morning!

Flo & Mary - too bad your weather turned so bad so quickly! Ours at least happened in the over night hours so we woke up to it. Today is going to be about the same......cold, rainy and just plain yuck.

Flo - how are your liking your job now that you have been at it a couple weeks?

Well, DH is getting excited about our upcoming June trip. Because yesterday the suitcases came up from downstairs :confused3. I can't believe I have held him off this long! :rotfl2: But we do need to start throwing the stuff in them that we don't want to forget. I have to say that I am getting excited too! May should fly by with all the end of school activities that will be going on.

Plus May is our big, and I mean big, birthday month. We have like 10-13 in the family! And we have a big birthday bash at our house on memorial day weekend. Hopefully this year the weather will be nice to use the pool!
