It looks like she is on the Magic and not the Wonder the week before, so she won't get to see the transformation.

You are right. When I saw back to back I just thought it was the Wonder.

Annmarie,

Thank you for the information on breaking the ice! Can you tell me where and what time the ice breaker/DVC meet? DH(Smillingjack) and I would enjoy getting involved with Dis people. Is it to late to sign up for grouped dinning? DH preferes early dinning. Don't know who to contact.

Happy to hear that your DS graduated in 2008 when jobs were not as scarce as they are now. What school did he graduate from? Our son is attending FIT, studying astrophysics.

One of our daughters is also a great Disney fan. We will be visiting WDW in Aug. and taking our yearly Mother/Daughter cruise in Sept. She is excellent in finding terrific discounts and was once a travel agent. It is going to be a busy Aug. and Sept. Can't wait!

Hi Flo,
Sorry but I have you and Annmarie confused. Just noted the error of my ways. Anyway, happy to hear of your son graduating last year. Hope he found a good employer. Our son will graduate 2010. Studying astrophysics. He loves those telescopes!

Andrea,

Don’t worry about the name mix up. I have done that before.

Yes, you are right I am so happy he graduated last year when the economy was better. He has so many friends that can not find jobs in there field. He sure got lucky. He worked as an intern and in December of 2007 they made him an offer for after graduation. They also want him to go back to school for his masters and they will pay. He is in the engineer field. Enough talking about him. Sorry but I am so proud of him.

No it is not too late to sign up for the dinning. The end of July is the cut off.
Below is the info that I need.

If any one would like link there dinning together please let me know. You can e mail to me at girlwolf@excite.com or PM them to me. Below is the information I will need for ALL involved (regardless of age). I will need this info no later then the end of July 2009. I know there is some time, but I just wanted to let everyone know.

1) Legal name of Each guest in the stateroom or staterooms
2) Stateroom
3) Age of each guest (at time of sailing)
4) Early or Late seating
5) Who you would like them

Take care

OK, I am going to show total ignorance here, but aren't they accepted every where that a VISA card is accepted? :confused3

BCVOwner2002

Annmarie,
Thank you for the fantastic welcome. Loved the icon. Hope I can learn to do that. I'm not the greatest on the computer.

I am also a bit shy but can warm up easily. I think you idea of a VOW renewal would be a blast. Hope you go for it. I can't imagine a better place to renew your VOWs or to get married.

I have 2 more weeks until retirement. Yippie! Our son will be coming home from college in Aug. DH (Smilling Jack) and I will take him on a short DCL cruise before he returns back to school. He loves DCL.

Look forward to meeting you,
Andrea (Smillingjacks DW)

Wow, only 2 weeks until retirement? Awesome!

Ok for all those keeping track, DH has recovered pretty much from the knee surgery and is being released, to go back to work.

So tomorrow its off the the Union Hall to see if there is a job for him. He said there are 2 calls for a job tomorrow, So we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Oh well if it dosen't happpen tomorrow, thats OK, he can then go to Therapy in the morning. He says the more he walks the better the leg feels.

:woohoo::woohoo: Yay for your husband being better!

Andrea the times and locations of the meets are on the main group web page. The link can be found in the first post on this thread.

Robbie,

One would think that they are but I do know you can not use them on DCL. What I mean is you can't put them on account as a credit to use for the bill. That is why I asked.

I think I am going to just get them. We get them with points from are bank.

Hi, everyone...have been catching up when I can on your lives/activities.
DD had her impacted wisdom teeth cut out and now she has a dry socket so we have to drive her to the oral surgeon 90 min away daily. If she lived with me, it wouldn't have happened...have to keep the gauze wet and stop it after the heavy bleeding stops...so she is in severe pain. And then I am going over to my aunt's house to give her her lovenox injections after work...it upsets me that she was rushed out of the hospital after her hip replacement with very little instruction on injecting herself. She is 76 and too afraid to do the shots...I am an RN and I think that some doctors and nurses forget that these things aren't easy for just everyone. I can remember a surgeon demanding that this 78 year old lady be taught how to pack her husband's abdominal wound daily so that he could go home. I had to step in and advocate for this patient and wife...the medical profession thinks just because it is second nature to them it should be to the average person....I guess wisdom comes with age.

Anyhow, getting my FE gifts together. Getting so excited for our cruise. Planning our San Francisco and Disneyland trips which are one week after the cruise. Lots going on here.

Mary, happy to hear you are feeling better and that chemo was able to be done.

Blessings and pixie dust to everyone...if I comment on everyone, I will win 5 ES and 5 pirates!!

Susan

And I agree about them kicking you out of the hospital too soon. I wish they would not do that.

Susan - sorry to hear about all your Daughter and Aunt. I've had to give myself the lovenox shots a couple of times. It wasn't too bad but I don't think I'd be very good at it at her age. thanks for taking care of both of them.
