09/12/10 - DVCers Take Over the Wonder (S.S. Member Cruise 2010) - Thread #2

:wave2: Hi everybody.

Was a busy night. Got home and got stuff ready for DH to make supper because I had to go to a parent Volleyball meeting for the youngest DD. Didn't get home till about 7:00. Then still had to finish making supper and clean up. Ughhhhh, I'm pooped!

So I just got caught up on all the posts tonight. Lots going on.

Is it time to go yet? :confused3 I so need to get away. We haven't even been back to school for a week and I am sick of it. Having to be on the coaches schedules and waiting for them just gets old. I mean, if you are to be done with practice at 5:30 then be done. Don't say oh, well, we decided we would go until 6:00. That is fine when the kids can drive themselves, but when your child can't drive yet and you have to sit and wait, and wait, and wait, I get frustrated. We live 15-20 minutes away from school so it is not like I can be there in a couple minutes to get her when she calls. And then, they tell you the night before when marching band uniform handout is. Well, guess what, we didn't know and the oldest DD has to work. Ughhhhhhhh, sorry, but school is so maddening. Sorry, just had to vent. I need a vacation. :rolleyes1

I will try anything with chocolate or that looks pretty - I need my adult beverages to be on the fuity side - or beer:rotfl2:!!

IM 55 and never get asked for ID. I actually dont know what the age is . It might be 21, Maybe Anita knows she is closer to that age than me:rotfl2:

Legal drinking age in Ontario Canada is 19. There are some provinces where it is 18.

I am not that far in age (41) from you Ian. I had to look it up on the internet. :surfweb:

Sorry to hear about your frustrations today. It is almost time to go. Just a little bit longer and you can leave your frustrations behind you :cloud9:

My DSis had the same problem with her HS band and drama club...I live about 10 minutes closer than my parents and after 2 years of dealing with the waiting - I started picking her up when able to save time....schedules people - they are created for a reason!!!

A COUPLE TIMES SOMEONE ASKED ME IF LAURA WAS MY DAUGHTER:scared1: MADE HER FEEL GOOD. BUT I DONT MIND IF THEY GIVE ME SENIORS DISCOUNT. :rotfl2: GREY HAIR COMES IN HANDY SOMETIMES:rotfl2:

CANADIAN BEER IS BETTER THEN AMERICAN BEER:banana:

I beg to differ. I gave Molson a try once :scared1: Let's just say the next time that beer darkens my doorway it will be to use as start up fuel for the generator :rotfl2:

All this talk of drinks is making me thirsty!!! :drinking1 I like them all! :thumbsup2 The only things I really won't drink at all would be whiskey or gin. :crazy2:

My computer is going crazy again....

Ian -DH said he agrees that your beer is better - he is not fond of drinking and only has a few beers he will drink - Labatt is one of those....I say YUCK!!!!

Exactly. Schedules people, schedules!

Think I could tell the teachers/coaches this? Probably not, they wouldn't like it very much, but hey, we have lives too.

Hmmm, we are not too far off from another :bride: and pirate: Are you all up for a run???

30 bottles of rum on the wall/SIZE]
