im trying to talk laura into going down maybe for 2 or 3 days just to do the festival. There is wine from our area at the canadian pavillian

Marsha - sounds like you are going to be getting the heat we have been having. At 10:00 last night the TV still had the heat index up over 100 degrees! Man is that hot. Stay inside and enjoy the air this weekend.

Ian - Congrats on second place. Sounds like you had a good time, and welcome back home!

We have no big plans for the weekend. Just hanging out by the pool. I had a great uncle pass away yesterday so I suppose sunday night may be visitation that I will have to go to. Don't know yet for sure. My Mom will let me know. But other than that, nothing.

I had a great uncle pass away yesterday so I suppose sunday night may be visitation that I will have to go to. Don't know yet for sure. My Mom will let me know. But other than that, nothing.

We didn't get a booklet but I was on the phone @ 7 am 7/20 booking some events for us when we go down in Oct. I read some are sold out-they didn't say which ones.
Tomorrow we are supposed to break another heat record and my DH has a late golf tee off time. Water-Gatorade-and more water!!!

Sorry to hear about your great uncle. Even when they have been suffering, it's still hard to come to the realization of losing a loved one. And at the same time, it's comforting to know they are no longer suffering.

Ian - I have no choice about F & W. DH would go without me if I didn't go. But I love it so much and we have so much fun. We only go down for the weekend when we go. We have come to enjoy the Friday-Monday trips. It is just a refresher for us and we need it sometimes.
