THIS IS WHERE WE STOOD FOR THE DVC MEMBER CRUISE GROUP SHOT for 2009.

I see my DH all the way in the back on the left. I think he is looking down at the camera.

IF YOU USE A MAGNIFING GLASS IN THE DVC GROUP SHOT YOU WILL SEE WHERE IM STANDING. MY DW WENT ON AHEAD TO GET AN UMBRELLA CHAIR AT SERENITY BAY SO MY FRIEND FROM BOSTON AND I HEAD UP A HAT BETWEEN US PRETENDING THATS WHERE SHE WOULD OF BEEN STANDING. LOOK A FEW ROWS BACK BEHIND THE PEOPLE HOLDING THE DVC FLAG AND A LITTLE BIT INFRONT OF THE 2 WEARING THE YELLOW SHIRTS. IM THE ONE ON THE LEFT IN THE BLUE DVC HAT AND REDISH CARIBBEAN SHIRT.
GREAT DIS GROUP SHOT, DID YOU ARRANGE tO SHOOT THAT BETWEEN THE 2 DINNER SITTINGS? WHICH ARE YOU AND DH IN THAT SHOT?

Good Morning all!!! I am loving the photos!!! It just helps me pretend I am not at home in the YUCK!!! Still no snow however we are warming up to 43 today!!!!! Great except the melt is beginning and with still over 15" on the ground - I"m sure it won't be pretty.

I love the door decorations - now I hve to plan for that too - I was just thinking about the FE - got to get the creative juices flowing!!

Marsha - love seeing the group shots again. We didn't make it to the DVC group photo this time. We were too busy chillin on the beach. I remember in 2007 when we did it it is was hot standing out there on the beach. It is a great shot and a fun thing to do, I remember. Maybe this year we will try to be there.

Also, the pirate photo is sure fun. Again, we missed this. I think I just forgot about it.

Do you have any other photos to share? I'll see if I have any from last year's cruise too. I know I didn't take very many.

Yes, we took the DIS Group shot on pirate night (of course) in between the 2 dinner seatings. I believe the time we were scheduled to meet was 7:30 p.m. We met a little before the time and was able to pull Pirate Mickey away and took the photo. Actually, Annmarie from the thread last year arranged it. We knew that we were going to tak the DIS group picture on pirate night and the time. Annmarie went to Shutters and arranged everything. If anyone wants a pirate night photo, someone can be volunteer to make contact with Shutters.

I am the African-American woman in the shot. I'm holding DS. DH is in the back row wearing the eye patch. Here is a picture of us from dinner on pirate night.

Definitely decorate your door. That is why I asked milliepie to do the magnets so at least you can have one magnet on the door. Here is a picture of my door:

It was hot standing on the beach but it did not take long to get the photo taken.

This is AWESOME! Gives me some ideas to try out when we're on the ship in September! I have a blank wall in my living room that is in desperate need of something beautiful to hang on it! Thanks!!

That's a really neat picture! I hope they have that prop for us to take pictures for our cruise. I see a hidden mickey in the clouds!!!

We went on the first member cruise in 2003 and we had both of our kids with us. Well...one and a half kids...DD was with us but traveled in a boat of her own....otherwise knows as mommy's tummy I was 1 week shy of the cut-off for pregnant women. This will be our second member cruise and we will not have the kids with us. They both get upset with us if we pull them out of school for vacation. So, it's just DH and me this time! I'm glad you will get to take your girls with you this time. Some of my favorite times on the ship are spending time in the pool with my kids, so I'll really miss that, but I'm sure DH and I will still have fun, and we'll get to use the adult only areas for a change!

Deadline for signing up for the FE exchange is July 10. I have updated the first post. Some have asked what do people give as gifts. Well, it varies from candy to pins or pens to magnets to whatever you like. People get very creative. Here are some pictures of the gifts, including the Halloween bag, I received on the last members cruise.

Whatever you give will be appreciated.
Also, there is no obligation to participate in the fish extender exchange.

My dw usually runs to serenity bay last year i hung around for dvc group shot so we improvised in my wifes spot by holding a hat up in her place. If you check you dvc member shot on island 2009 you will find me and a hat hahahaha!!!!!!. Then i run to tram and meet my wife at serenity bay. The middle photo is where we usually end up. And if you look way out you see that white marker. If you want to see fish swimming around you go out near there. There is a sunken boat motor part and ladder. The fish have made it a home. We stand there for about 3 hours sometimes until water gets to deep. The fish follow you go between your legs some nip hahaha, but they are small but you do see ones that are about 1 foot long. Last sept we saw a lobster under there. There are large star fish out there a bit over from that spot.
Occassionaly a baracuda swims thru that beach area or a large manta ray. Last time we were there i saw this long skinny dark shadow swim by i managed to to watch it swim between people who didnt know it was there. It was a barracuda. I"ll have to put the photo of the large manta ray my wife and i followed close to shore. It was about 1 foot infront of us.
Thank you marsha for showing my wife and i the fish extender gifts it helps us think about signing up and what to do since we have never done it before. A great way to add fun to cruise.

Ah Shucks Ya'll are complaining about all that SNOW, I wish we could get some, I am probably one of a few that wishes it would get colder here in Southern California, I sometimes get sooooo tired of 80 degree weather in February!!!
