Good Morning all!!! We spent the evening last night getting some og the massive iciciles from the house. No snow again last night we will be TWO days with no snow now!!!! We are going out to dinner with my family tonight to celebrate DSis32 dbay!!!

Good Morning All! It is a beautiful, sunny, albeit cold, day here in So. MD. At least the temp is above freezing allowing some of the snow and ice to melt. I am still chanting "Spring, Spring, Spring!"

Ok, I have a really crazy question, please don't laugh at me! I can't find my answer anywhere and DH isn't home for me to ask. So, here goes: Is our cruise itinerary as follows:
9/12 - Embarkation Day
9/13 - Castaway Cay
9/14 - Day at Sea
9/15 - Castaway Cay
9/16 - Disembarkation Day?

I'm really hoping we don't go to Nassau. They wouldn't do that to us on a Member Cruise, would they?

That is the correct schedule. We do not go to Nassau. We spend two glorious days at Castaway Cay & one day at sea. Love it!

Do they let the kids play bingo also?

Yes, kids are allowed to play bingo.

I think the kids can play along with the parents, but I believe the parents have to collect the winnings if the child is under the age of 18. Does anyone else know for certain?

You are correct. A parent/guardian has to collect the winnings.

I'm chanting as well. Its amazing I thought the warmer temps and thawing would make the leaks worse but they have stopped!!! (knock on wood!!!)

I still have the towels and buckets there just in case but so far so good!!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! I got my house all cleaned last night so the weekend is free for "project loft bed completion"! I had to go get my oil changed this morning and stopped at "Once Upon A Child" got $20 for some of my kids' old clothes. Not as much as I was hoping for, but it's better than nothing and I don't have to deal with Ebay.

I'm glad to hear that it has finally stopped snowing everywhere. I just heard that we're supposed to get some snow here in the midwest tomorrow night. They were saying a foot overnight up in Chicago. I'm southeast of Chicago, so I don't know how much of that we'll actually get.

Bingo....is there a bingo group for the members cruise? Michael and I love bingo. We used the electronic bingo on the January cruise...it plays up to 72 cards at one time....what fun. We didn't win but it was fun anyhow.

When I was on the members cruise, I played with the electronic bingo cards and it was still exciting. I thought it would not be because I wouldn't be marking off the numbers but I was so wrong. There is definitely a bingo group forming. We are going to have to meet up at one of the bingo games on the ship.

I will happily join the Bingo group. I LOVE BINGO!!!!! Back when I was 18 and into my early 20's (geez that was a long time ago) I used to go play Bingo at the church hall every Friday night while all of my friends were out drinking and clubbing

So, I'd like to share some kewl news that only other DISfans would get I had mentioned on the question of the week that we were staying in WDW before the cruise and at BWV. Well I need to amend that now. I had waitlisted for a concierge level studio at AKV thinking that the possibility was slim to none that it would come through since there are only 5 CL studios and I had a better chance of getting hit by a meteor Well, I found out that it did indeed come through DH and I are so excited I guess I better start watching out for meteors now I'd love to hear from anyone that has stayed CL at AKV. What is it like, what do they offer and are all of the rooms SV???

I've never stayed anywhere in concierge level, so I don't know. The only thing I DO know is that there is a balcony outside at the port that only concierge gets to go out on while waiting to board the ship. AND concierge gets boarding pass #1.
