Anyone else bringing a tux to wear on the formal night?

No, but we are bring formals to wear. That is if I can still get into it. I was poured into a day or so ago so if I can lose a pound or two I should be fine. If I gain an ounce It won't fit. Time will tell. Lois

Hey! I'm not greedy! Disney allows a max. of 3 Palo ressies per party, so that's what I have, one brunch, one dinner, one tea. Last time we were on board we didn't get to do the tea so I'm looking forward to it. Christine's dad loved the high tea at the Grand Floridian so I think he will really like this.

Palo is great and I'm looking forward to one dinner there, but I really do enjoy the dinners at our regular restaurants with our regular servers every night.

Who snagged a Palo Brunch ressie that popped up on the web site??? Oh yeah.....this girl right here! ROCK ON!

Congrats! I got dinner but am still looking for brunch. We have done dinner a couple of times but haven't done a brunch yet. I hear it is wonderful!
I think the tea might be a little much for DH who would rather have pizza and beer!

Someone needs to donate one to FLTink

Thanks for the back up, Donnica, but I'm not worried. We'll get in one way or another. Because there are 7 of us, not including Stina, Hannacanna and the 'rents, we are going to have to be flexible. Right now I have one dinner ressie for just Jay and I for the night of our anniversary and one brunch for the two of us on Sunday. We are hoping to add the other 5 people on to the brunch ressie and get another dinner night for all 7 of us. We are not doing tea because we didn't love it last time. It was pleasant enough, but nothing mind-blowing. Brunch is SERIOUSLY the MOST hedonistic, mind-blowing experience!!! (You remember it, Donnica, right?) For anyone who is debating over which Palo ressies to do or skip let me say this....if you can do 'em all, go for it.....but if not, I'd say make BRUNCH you're #1 priority, then dinner, then tea.

I do remember it of course! Although I just coculdn't EAT that much! LOL

The brunch ressie is definitely the hardest to get (along with tea) because they only offer it 3 days of the trip. Versus dinner, where you have 7 nights to choose from. Anyhow, looks like you're in good shape Jenn since you've got the one dinner and one brunch ressie. I'm sure another dinner ressie will open up on one of the nights so the whole gang can go. Dee must be thrilled to finally be among the adults!

Dee is psyched about 3 things....
1. Being of legal age to go to the Vista Spa and use the Rainforest (Look out, Peppermint Shower! Here she comes!)
2. Being of legal age to get chocolate souffle at Palo.
3. Being of legal age to be in Rockin' Bar D for the SPP throw downs and witnessing her sister being balanced on David'd chest semi-a la Dirty Dancing.:rotfl:

Being keeper of the list must be quite a task!

Names:
Ray (DH)
Laura (DW)
Jessica (DD11)
Sarah (DD7)

cat 9 deck 2 - not sure what the room is at the moment (dont have the res in front of me)

Main dining (though I don't know which "phase")

We live outside Tampa and have been on several DCL trips, found out about the DISBoards over the last few years, but have always been so busy that we have never "connected." In reading through some of the posts it seems like I can pick out some of the other cruises we've been on by the mention of weather events, etc... Here's where we cue the music to 'It's a Small World After All...'

Tried Palo's but no luck so far. Still trying to figure out excursions. Maybe jetski's somewhere...

DDx2 still don't know so we're working on devious ways to spring it on them:earsboy:

I have added your info. Please check it out to make sure I got you right. Lois

Did you hear that she's thinking about publishing a Harry Potter Encyclopedia, which would go into detail about the stories behind things that we may not know? (Like, more details about Harry's parents, intricate details about Hogwarts, etc.) :wizard:
I just heard that she is publishing two new books; one for kids, one for adults. Whichever one does better, that's the one she is going with. I think some stories written about the time leading up to James and Lily Potter's deaths would be awesome. Like some information about their courtship, Lily's family, James' family, and their wedding, etc. That would be good reading as well.
