Yes, I joined the DIS today so I could make comments on how helpful reading past posts have been in helping me to prepare. I have DH John DS Beau-8 and DD Sarah-6 (close enought to 6)

I really wish I had paid closer attention to so emails from my sis-in-law. I could have been introduced everyone so much sooner! Beau is excited about the cruise, although he can be a little shy. But I am sure he will warm up to all the children quickly. Please tell Sabrina hello for us, and we look forward to meeting at 3 on Saturday.

I can tell you that Susan currently lives in Duluth, GA and Mary Ellen lives in Greenville, NC. Both are wonderful Aunts to my DS and DD. We are so excited that they were able to join the family for this MAGICal Cruise. Susan is another sis-in-law and Mary Ellen is my sister. Very happy that my family gets along well enough to travel together.

Now if I can get the DH to be as glad about going with us. He is only along, "because I paid for it!"

We aren't really big drinkers...but, this trip has been 10 years in the planning..so there will be quite a bit of partying that is going to happen for the next seven days.

I'm sure you've posted this, so please forgive me for asking again, but where will you be staying in Disney? We'll be there the week after as well, and will be at BWV. Maybe we'll see you in one of the parks!

We will be at ASMu. I will be the one in the Mickey or Minnie tshirts. Well, I have a Tink shirt for one of the days. I will also be wearing a Carolina Panthers pink baseball cap on a day or two.

• Weigh you luggage - $150 over weight charge
• Make sure you hold to 2 bags per traveler - Bag 3 = $125

I was reading Delta's baggage policy and discovered a couple things:

For tickets purchased on or after July 16, 2009, there is a $5/bag surcharge for checking bags at the airport, but not for bags prepaid during online check-in.

Some items don't count toward your Carry On bags limit:

• Food items for immediate consumption
• One box or bag of duty free merchandise - does Tortuga Rum Cake count

we are from yulee, Fl which is just south of the GA/FL border and north of Jacksonville, FL. which is about 3 hours and 17 minutes from the world but who is counting?

This is the week I begin working on printing and cutting on the door magnets (thanks to creative team on DISBoards.) Besides WDW Enabler who will have a door anyone would envy...how is everyone doing on their door magnets?

Am I the only with no door magnets? I should probably review the instructions for idrivelumina's ears and go to Staples for some magnet paper. They have it there, right?

Maybe we should have a post-cruise discussion to rate all of our experiences, share photos, etc. My friends on Facebook can't wait for me to post my vacation photos so they can drool, I mean enjoy!

For sure, last time our group kept the thread going for a few months after we came back!

Man, this makes me proud. To have others judge by the standard I have set.

Now I am just trying to remeber who else I was supposed to make a FE for. I have all the pieces cut but cannot remeber who it was for. Oh well, it will come to me or they will say something before we leave.

Hey, how cool-Susan is my neighbor! We're only 20 min. or so from Duluth. Just a short shot down 85! Actually, I worked in Duluth for a few years...Over on Satelitte Blvd., across from the mall, then over on Peachtree Industrial! Very neat!

Yes staples has the magnetic paper. idrivealumina has great disigns and if you print them at 100% they fit perfectly. once saved full size to my computer, I right click on the icon and select print. But that will vary by the printer and program you use.

Yes it is that easy. print on paper first to verify your computers output size (number on door is 7.5 inches)

I am learning that some of the DISigns are easy to make and edit. I am still learning

Hi Everyone! I am just checking in during lunchtime to get my DIS fix!
Sounds like everyone is getting excited, too. We are planning on going to MNSSHP on Tuesday night (Sept 15th), is anyone going to that one? Also, I was going to make a couple of extra magnets and stick them on people's doors as I walk by...(not using the magnetic paper - I can't afford to be that generous , but printing, laminating, then sticking some magnetic strips on back.) Thought that might help spread the pixie dust a little!

We live in Orlando, FL.
We aren't sure what time we are getting to the port yet. We only live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the port, so I hadn't thought that far ahead yet!

Hi Keggy, Since you are a local, maybe you can give me some advice. We are all arriving Friday afternoon by 5pm, checking in at the Residence Inn and then I thought we would go to eat at Coconuts on the Beach (because they have oceanfront dining) and then head to RonJon's to begin our souvenir shopping! We definitely want to see the beach. Does this sound good or would you recommend some place else. (BTW, low price dining is always good.)
