I'm sorry to hear about your son's friend and his step-father. Your son sounds like a good "reliable" friend. Teenagers (especially boys) can be very closed in about their emotions. So, it must have been really bad if he was crying. I am glad the friend is safely at his grandparents. My two weak spots are kids and animals in need or trouble. Just ask Emily about the numerous dogs we've taken to their rightful homes or even a turtle we carried out of the street into a pond. But, those are stories for another day. . .Thank You![]()
I know DS is concerned for his friend.. It was the first time he heard his friend Cry over the phone and ask him to come get him..
DS told me he has fought with his step father before, when mom is home, she jumps in and stops them.. but never has he called DS crying

Pizza. . . a family after our own hearts. We've been making our weekly homemade pizzas too. DD5 loves to help make the dough. DS7 like to put on the cheese. However, no more fresh basil. My poor basil plant has wilted up. The Texas humidity can do that to plants.
Poor guy.
