Sorry I have been MIA, my mom has been in the hospital and my little one was extremely sick and to top it off our water heater went out.....

Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. Hopefully everything will go smoothly this week and fall into place so you can enjoy a well deserved vacation!

And Stacy, that sounds like quite an owie--made me cringe just to think of it!

I got mine from a Car accident.. Hit by a Drunk Driver, my airbag never deployed and my knee went into the dashboard.. Afew weeks later I couldn't walk on it properly so I had to have the surgery.. But.. it's as good as new now.. Only hurts once in a while

I started to work on my magnets, but I'm not feeling very creative tonight. Hopefully, some ideas will come to be tomorrow.

One house is cleaned now and will be fresh when we get back from the cruise. Not sure what I am going to do with weekday house. It is a wreck. I guess I'll be up all night tonight.

I still have to unpack and repack. I think I am going to buy a new suitcase tomorrow! We are only bringing 2 for 5 people. I hope I can stick to that. I hate the suitcases being stacked a mile high in the car.

I get it - we have something like that down here. You're really not homeschooling - you're child is still part of the system, they just don't have to go to a physical school, right? It seems to work great for some families, and you can't beat the price

We tried a class through Florida Virtual School last year with my oldest. I was amazed at how unorganized it was and how many mistakes there were. It was a computer class, yet they seemed very behind in their knowledge of technology Go figure! We ended up dropping the class - we've always homeschooled choosing our own curriculum, doing things our own way, and that class had too many hoops to jump through just to "learn" things like Word, Power Point, etc.

It worked better when I just had him use those tools as part of his school work. He kind of learned as he used them and we also found some good tutorials online that he could refer to when he ran into something he couldn't figure out.

GVA is modeling their program on Flordia's Virtual Academy. I have never seen such a mess in all my life here in GA. I would love to sit down with these people who have seem to have never had a real job in their lives.
