Canon has a new camera model out. iF i BUY IT THEY WILL COME OUT WITH ANOTHER NEW MODEL NEXT WEEK.

As soon as I bought my 10D they came out with the 20D, then The 30D. Argh! I want the 5D, but the 40D has a 3 inch screen on the back. It is 10 MegaPixels. Pretty nice. Cheaper (More inexpensive) than the 5D though. Maybe Ang can buy me one of them for Christmas, and I can buy the other one for myself. You can't have too many cameras, can you?

Well, MrsM is tugging at my shirt. I have to get ready to go up to Portland to the Federal Building. UGH. It is as bad as the Airport as far as getting through the security. Anyway. I have to go discuss some VA stuff. It's tough being an old geezer soldier.

Thanks! I have one in the Hidden Mickeys, too (the bedspread from PO French Quarter). In my first life, besides being a kindergarten teacher, I was a wedding photographer. I learned photography from my father, who was a very serious amateur. I still have, and have used once in a while, his Leica from the early 1940's. I used to do my own darkroom work, but with the arrival of digital I haven't done that in years!

We were a sight when we got home on Wednesday evening. It had gotten a little chilly for DFW area standards, it was in the HIGH 50's! We had short-sleeved shirts on and shorts. I had to run into Wal-Mart before we headed home to get some milk and other items. Everyone was bundled up in winter jackets. Being originally from MA, I still get a kick out of it. Heck! Bill is from Dallas and he thought it was funny too.

Wow. We have a lot in common. I still do an occasional wedding, if I really have to. LOL! The old Leica's are priceless. I still have a studio, which is packed up in the garage. LOL> And my old partner has all of the darkroom equipment. I miss the smell of Metol in the morning.

Okay DS7 now has the AV bug like his Daddy. . . I just laid DS2 down for a nap and told DS7 and DD5 to go upstairs to play or watch tv. I finally get a few minutes of peace! DS7 said to me, "But it's not HD".
