 Hi Brack !!!

Congrats on your Wench.. Good Game.. See you in another 100 ;)

Hey maybe Wendy should keep a List of the Wenches too :confused3

Boy, we do seem to have alot of Wenches around this Tread :rolleyes1

Congratulations!

I get a princess: sandwich on this one because the 40 second rule killed me about 6 times!

Thank You... It got me twice in one posting on that last one.. I thought for sure you had it..

OK I MUST do the laundy :laundy: NOW!

See ya later! :yay:

Morning/Evening Wendy! I am about to go wake up Bill. Look out Mickey. . . here we come!:cool1:

- Jennifer

Have a wonderful, magical weekend! I wish we could go with you. We love touring DVC even though we already own. :confused3 Addicts, I tell you, we are addicts!

I really wish I could homeschool my DD. By the time I retire from the military, she'll be 15. Do you have any thoughts on whether or not homeschooling is a good idea for teens? Or do you think they are better off at school for the social aspect?

We did not homeschool, but DGS's best friend is homeschooled kid. Our local high school lets him attend the high school for some classes and homeschool the rest. He is in band at regular school all 4 years and he took a math class in his junior year that his parents felt better having someone else teach. ;) So, he gets the social aspect of regular school, but benefits of homeschooling. Wouldn't affect his band grade too much if he missed a week or two. :rolleyes1 He also is very active in the youth group at church for social activities.

OMG you sound JUST like Tina!!! :scared1: I don't know how many nights, (probably EVERY) that I fall asleep before she does, just because she can't get comfy and her mind is racing about other things. I don't know what it is but most of the time if I am stressed about something I might have heartburn or be stressed during the day or something like that, but NOTHING gets in the way of my sleep!!! :faint:

You know it is just how we each handle stress. Dennis will go and sleep/nap when he is stressed. It is avoidance for him. I on the other hand cannot sleep when stressed. :confused3

There are tables outside the pin shop at DTD where people can "trade" pins. Most though are "pro" traders who want as many "good/great/rare" pins as they can get for as few "good/great" pins as they can get by with.

Unless there is a particular rare pin that you "cannot live without" and are willing to trade anything for it then you will not get a good trade.

Yep, we just trade with CMs and give cool pins we happen to find to our friends! :goodvibes DrHug got 5 or 6 of the no longer used DCL "It's My Birthday" Pins, and has shared all but 2 with DISer kids that we have cruised with. Had to be their BD though of course. He will keep the one he originally got for his BD in 2002 on the first DVC Members only cruise and someday may sell or trade the last one.

OOOOOHHHHH!! Thank you, Sir!:thumbsup2

Look at this all the pirate: and princess: do their plundering and then take off! :sad2:

Our plan for today. I finish painting the last wall in the downstairs bedroom. Dennis had to redo one of the patches that I had done on a BIG hole. Well, I'm a novice at this. The small hole I patched looked dandy! So, ready to paint that last wall, the base boards and the window. :thumbsup2 We got the new sink, vanity, counter top, medicine cabinet and faucets for the downstairs bath yesterday, so Dennis' job today will be to pull out the old stuff. We will then paint those walls tonight and put the new in tomorrow. :scared: Whew! Makes me tired to think about it. Maybe I'll just DIS a while longer. :surfweb:

Just got home from getting my nails done.. Bright ORANGE !! Maybe for december I'll get Lime Green !! :confused3

They took longer then expected since the salon was crowded so I didn't get a Halloween design which I originally wanted.. but I also don't have time since I have to shower and dress for the party..

Maybe Monday or Tuesday I will go back for some add on airbrushing

It is hard to believe you only booked 2 weeks ago - how many posts have we done since then???

I was curious, so I went back to look. My first post was 3271 and, as of this morning, we're over 6700  The post count of the thread started two years ago has more than doubled just in the past two weeks. It wasn't all me, I swear. :confused3

Either that or the white Mickey shirts would probably work too:thumbsup2

That give me an idea. I wonder if I could get the white one and use RIT dye to dye it lime green. Though I'm guessing lime green is a delicate balance and the results might turn out horrifying. :scared:

Ambien is wonderful:cloud9: I used to take a whole tablet, but I've found that a 1/2 works just as well at helping me to get to sleep. But I'm not groggy in the morning.

That's an idea. I've taken half a dose of over the counter stuff before. With me, it's mostly a matter of staying asleep once I get there.

Good morning, all!!

:lmao: :rotfl2: And you sound just like my husband! He's always out like a light about 4 minutes after we get in bed. It takes me at least a good half hour to clear my mind enough to get to the point where I'm ready for sleep. It hasn't been a problem in the past, but we've had colds the last few weeks which means as soon as he drops off, he starts snoring... which, of course, keeps me awake. Luckily, he doesn't snore when he doesn't have a cold. :thumbsup2

On the lime green t shirts...well, it makes more sense now that someone said, wear them on the first day so we recognize each other...phew! Until I "got" that, it was the one thing that was sounding...a little cultish. ;)

:lmao: :lmao: Everyone remember... don't offer JoAnne any fruit punch from the drink station. :rolleyes1

I was born & raised in NC (I was almost 30 when we left) but we have lived so many places in the last 25 years that my "accent" is fairly neutral.

I was past 30 when we left Virginia. I get "Where are you from?" at least once a week in LA. I swear I don't have an accent, but apparently I'm wrong.

DS (17) is a GRUMP like his Mom when he gets woken up... DH and I fight in the morning cause I like the quiet as I try and Wake Up and he wants the TV on :happytv: I can't sleep with it on and he can't fall asleep with it off  So I normally stay and Dis :surfweb: until I hear him snoring.. that's when I know it's safe to go in the room, turn off the TV and listen to the quiet :cloud9:

We have the same thing with the radio. So the compromise is that he turns it on, but with a 15 minute timer on it. So it goes off by the time he's alseep and I'm never asleep by then anyway. Hmm. I'm starting to see a pattern on where all the blame for my sleep problems comes from..... :headache:

:lmao: :rotfl: I laugh every time you point out one more reason! :lmao:

How odd... my mother doesn't think it's funny at all. :confused3 :lmao:

That sounds like a great balance. Maybe I can work something like that when I retire.
