I saw on another board that flagger (who started this thread) has had to cancel his trip because of a medical problem. Just today, I was scanning the early pages of this thread and saw lots of names that don't show up any more. I assume some people just changed their plans, but where are the others? Did we scare them away?

Beth

Guess that other person whose 1st and only post a few pages back was wrong.

I can't eat them. :snooty: They are WAY too messy. I hate to break my food up by hand to eat a spoonful of meat.

how about doing all that work and not even get to taste it.... :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

To be honest even though I absolutely love seafood I dread eating at seafood restaurants because by the time I actually get to eat everyone else is finished.

Dude, honestly, I'm more jealous that you have Halo 3!!! :cool1: I REALLY like to play, but something in my head that every time I play a first-person game like that, I get EXTREME motion sickness!!!! When I first started playing with a couple of REALLY GOOD friends that had played Halo for years, I learned to run REALLY fast towards my friends and lead the other teams to them so they could kill 'em. Hence my name on XBox: RUNMASTER!!!!! Grrr!!!

:lmao: I love that name!

So you still get that feeling when you play? Sorry if you do as those games are fun but they can be very addicting. Just 1 of the 1,000,003 addictions I have in my life. :)

I do have three 'New York Ave' and two 'Marvin Gardens' to trade. :thumbsup2

We got 2 Baltic Ave pieces from the Same box of Fries  If I wasn't already home when we found out I would of requested a new box.. ;)

Oh I LOVE playing them!! It's TOTALLY addicting!!! But unfortunately, I still do get that way. :guilty: If I'm just watching and not playing it's multiplied by like, 5!! My brother gets the same way. We both grew up on video games; the Atari 2600 playing basketball with a square one pixel basketball!!! :woohoo: All the way up to the 360!! But the first person games just make me really queezy. I think I might have an inner ear problem. When I was working on MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) every time we had to do flips I got dizzy. I don't know what it is. :confused3

Hmm, I'm going to the real Atlantic City for almost a week next month. After I get back from there I can really start getting into "cruise mode". Before then, I have to concentrate on making sure that I have everything I need ready for my convention!

And I just found out today that I have a lot of vacation time that I had forgotten about, so I'm taking a few extra days and will stay in Atlantic City an extra night or two. My DDIL and granddaughter will join me, and we can have some fun--kind of like a "warm up" for vacation. DS and DH will come and pick us up at the end of the week.

Beth

Will you be going to Rainforest Cafe?

Play some 3 card for me !!!

**Fair Warning, cute kid story within.**

On the crustacean thread...Ds, 7, brought home the requisite turkey-themed craft last week (remember we just had Thanksgiving in Canada). In the centre they were to write a little something about Thanksgiving, with the lead in "Thanksgiving is a good time to..." My boy writes "...try lobster! It's very tasty and you can play with the claws as you eat it!" Sounds like the Turkey Liberation Front put him up to that one! :rotfl: We had a big "feed" of lobster in Sept, and I was amazed that both kids enjoyed the meat as well as the--um, exoskeleton--especially given that they usually make me stop at the tank in the supermarket so we can "say hi to the lobsties".

Definitely not worth the trouble in the shell unless you're on the beach with sand in your crevices already and heading for the shower soon anyway...next time I'll have mine thermador...

didn't know that about flagger though. Someone had just said the other day that his TA confirmed one of the private rooms for his group for brunch. So it must have just been in the last day or two.

Yes, I saw it on that other thread this morning. Last night he posted that his dog wasn't feeling well, and then today that he had to cancel due to an unforeseen medical emergency.

Stacy: I've never been to a Rainforest Cafe other than the one in Las Vegas! But DS and his gang go frequently, and Shannan loves the desserts. I may indulge this trip. Usually I attend convention events in the evenings, but I'm just not into staying out all night these days. I'd much rather have a nice dinner, walk the boardwalk, win a few dollars and get some sleep!

And, speaking of sleep, that's where I'm heading right now!

Does anybody wonder what happened to some of the early posters on this thread who don't post any more? Are any of you just lurking around?

OK, I'm heading off to watch ER. If I can stay awake, I may be back before I go to bed. If not, have a good night, everyone!

Beth

Plans change and they can expecially change when a thread is over a year old. We had to drop out of the cruise through the canal next August. I wsa fairly active on that thread but just stop in once in awhile now.

I don't think we scared most of them off ..... just a couple maybe. :lmao: pirate: princess:

Oh that was funny...first time I've been around for a few pirates--but that just went "boom"! 7 posts or so between refreshes...

My timing has been off and I have not been involved in one in awhile. But it just makes me laugh when I am! :lmao: :rotfl: Gets the adrenaline going! :lmao:

I know a few were Geeks that had sailed last Dec with Brack, Annette and Dennis and I. They canceled when the Canal Cruises were announced and rebooked on those. We and Brack are doing both!! :woohoo:
