Brack and Angie,
We received the packet from DVC today. It was nice to receive "Disney Mail". It puts a smile on anyones face. The kids were happy to receive the packet too. Emily has already colored in most of the coloring book pages we received with it. We love the hard bound color book that came with the packet. It really has piqued our interest even more and bill is running the numbers. He may PM you with some questions.

but you tricked me with all the Bargin hunt shopping and I got excited and forgot to watch the post count

I've had so much fun chatting with everyone these past few months. I can't wait to meet you all onboard! This is going to be a great cruise! It will be nice to see some familiar faces throughout the ship. Does anyone know if other sites get together like DISers? I've been on c r u i s e c r i t i c s . c o m (like WIFamily, Beth and Wendy) it is not nearly as chatty as this one. Amberdaclown, I believe your husband is on that site too.

This is a great place to chat about cruising. Our last cruise was December 2006 and that thread is still going with over 76,000 posts. We are still very close friends.

I will never forget the time I was visiting family in California when I was younger (in the early 80's). We drove to Mexico for a quick trip. Going to Mexico, we didn't even stop at the border. However coming back through, they stopped every car. They checked trunks and used those little mirrors on sticks to look under the cars. We were in an RV. So, one of the border patrol officers actually boarded the RV. He looked around and asked us to say "I am an American citizen". Back then, for minors that is all we had to do to cross the border. Even so, I was never so nervous in my life! Times sure have changed!

When we lived in Texas during '98 and '99 it was the same as you when we crossed into Mexico. They didn't care about going there but looked closely when we came back.

Do the Moderators ever close a thread for being too large? 76,000 posts in quite a large number of posts. Our September 2008 thread is VERY active. However, I haven't posted on there in months. I've focused on this cruise, since it is getting so close.

I agree to a point. I really love shopping at Fry's there in Dallas as well as other electronic stores but I also really like shopping almost anywhere. My grandmother used to take me shopping every week so I learned from a "Master".

Not unless it causes chaos I believe cause I've seen another with over 100,000 posts on it and it is still going strong..

I don't think they close threads because of size. They have closed some because of problems though.
