I've had so much fun chatting with everyone these past few months. I can't wait to meet you all onboard! This is going to be a great cruise! It will be nice to see some familiar faces throughout the ship. Does anyone know if other sites get together like DISers? I've been on c r u i s e c r i t i c s . c o m (like WIFamily, Beth and Wendy) it is not nearly as chatty as this one. Amberdaclown, I believe your husband is on that site too.

Oh Me Too !! :grouphug: I can't wait for our cruise and our Secret Mickey Santa Exchange.. You all already feel like family :goodvibes

Please don't expect too much from my DH though :confused3 He SAYSsssssssssss he will come with me on meets and stuff but I know other then diner you probably won't see too much of him.. DH just doesn't understand my Dis' Addiction :sad2: Although he Loves all the juicy rumors I read to him on the Rumor thread :rolleyes1

That is tooooo funny cause DH & I were looking into buying "pirate" themed gifts to give out as well.. Eye patches, earrings.. etc..

Ohhh Chocolate Gold Coins...

I think when it gets close to a pirate: Im going to stop talking til it is over and I am 100% safe :sad2:

but you tricked me with all the Bargin hunt shopping and I got excited and forgot to watch the post count :guilty:
pirate: Pirate themed items will be so appropriate for this bunch! pirate: I'm glad everyone is getting into the spirit of things.

I spend a lot of time at the passporter board (I know a lot of people here have their cruise book), and I saw Stacy and maybe a few others there. But the cruise board is much slower than the Passporter WDW boards. I did meet one Passporter family on our last trip to Disney, we arranged to share a fireworks cruise, and that was fun. I have met "internet" people in other venues (I belong to a moms group, have for--8 or 9 years now) and haven't met an ax murderer yet! ;)

::yes:: I posted a few times on the passporters thread and the cruiscritic one but I prefer this one cause I get to chat it up all day long some times

I will never forget the time I was visiting family in California when I was younger (in the early 80's). [snip]They checked trunks and used those little mirrors on sticks to look under the cars. We were in an RV. So, one of the border patrol officers actually boarded the RV. He looked around and asked us to say "I am an American citizen". Back then, for minors that is all we had to do to cross the border.

OMG, this made me laugh. Any fans of "Frasier" out there? There was this hilarious sequence with Daphne, the British physio, and them driving into Canada in an RV...on the way back they were coaching her to be able to say "shuuure" in an American accent. The border guy came into the RV and questioned them...I thought it was made up for comic effect! Fuuuuuunnneeee. :happytv:

I have a good "mom" friend I've known online for ages now, we even visited her and were hosted in her home, with her dh in attendance. He still refers to us as her "imaginary friends". :rotfl: The significant others don't always get it!

Im watching Heroes  and the boards are taking forever for me to load so I will be back in about a half hour to check back
