OMG! That was my "biding time" post! Wheee!

Or should I say "aaaaargh" for the very first time!! pirate:

that would be great if it was dark on pirate night because my brother bought my boys this skull shirt that glows in the dark.... they want to sleep in it everynight because they think it is so cool but frankly it just creeps me out I would be scared to sleep in a shirt like that.

Hannah and i are definatley in on that!! Save us a seat!:cheer2:
:wave2: Hi Angie (#2)! We've missed you on here. I know you are keeping busy! The cruise is fast approaching. YEA! :cool1: princess: Emily had fun meeting princess: Hannah a few months back. The girls are going to have so much fun! Please do join us at the Tea With Wendy. The more the merrier! I am excited for you and your family on your first Disney cruise. You'll probably have to drag the boys out of the clubs. We'll see you soon!!!!!!!

our library is so small that we withdraw anything that has not been checked out in the last 2 yrs except if its a classic (but we a packed wall to wall with shelves that are completey full plus those things are solid wood and weigh a ton.... not going to be pretty at all.

Most of the kids' books are still in boxes from our move in...July. But they don't read most of the ones on their shelves. Ds is in to "chapter books" now and I've given up buying them, he goes through them so fast. I need to take some of his old ones and vet them out for dd. I'm still trying to talk him into Harry Potter, which I love, but he's reading "Bionicles". We've got great public libraries here, the kids' section in our former town was mangy. The books were so old they smelled. If I win the lottery I'm endowing that poor kids' section. (Or I could just give them my castoffs!)

You are all great! I appreciate the warm welcome! I have been browsing the past posts...boy are you guys fast!! I will take the time later to read the blog and secret santa links. I worked 13 hrs in the ER (I'm a nurse) yesterday so I need to get my act together and get on with my day. My daughter Alex was so awesome about rescheduling this cruise. She is in the 3rd grade and will be enrolling in the Oceaneers Lab. Hopefully this cruise will happen!! I am excited that the ship will be decorated for the holidays! FUN! TTYL! Tracy :)

Oh sorry, I read your post too quick, and thought that your DD was a DS. I'm sure Jasmine will be glad to hear there's another girl her age who'll be joining us!

Yep, that would creep me out too. Boys. :rolleyes2

Ok, my connection is waaaay slow all of a sudden so I guess I might as well go feed the kids. ;)

When I logged and then typed my post it was about 26 posts until 5400. However, when I hit send, my post was number 5407. What is up with this site today??????

My son had one of those. I'd hide it in the closet.

Yes, the top deck at night does get pretty dark.. But the Fireworks look Great!! pirate:
I assumed it would be hard for pictures, especially since the crowds come early..

The statue in the Atrium should be just fine as long as the Pirate characters are done with the meet & greets and we can sneak in for some pictures..

I've only been on the Magic one other time so I forget what is around since it has a few different spots added then the Wonder

When the original post went out i had said we would like to be included - is Angie (hehe my name too btw) the one heading that up?

I know MrsMork sent her request in first, but she may have just originally sent it for the group she's traveling with. I'm sorry if I missed you, when I sent out my post (around the August time frame). I feel terrible, but we can't add any more people at this point due to the room size. I don't know if there is more than one seating in the private room - I'd imagine there is, but if you can find 10 more people who'd like to try to get a group ressie with you then you could put in another request. We've had a few people join us within the past couple months or so who might be interested.

So from then on we have booked Cat 11 rooms. Even this time we booked a Cat 11 until the great price drop for a Cat 12! (more money to spend in the shipboard shops :lmao: )If I want a verandah there's a free one on Deck 9 and Deck 10. They even make coffee for me on Deck 9. :coffee:

I think one of the best places to be is in a cat 11 aft on deck 7. You have a nice quiet cabin, a laundry room down the hall, the back staircase to Topsiders, and a secret deck all for a great price!

Maybe at one of the clubs each night or Cove Cafe? :coffee:

I was going to suggest Rockin' Bar D, but how do the folks who have under 3 year olds feel about that? The rest of us can stash our kids in the club during that time, but if the folks with the smaller kids think they'll have the kids with them, then someplace like the lounge (I forgot the name) next to the Internet cafe would probably be good.

:thumbsup2 and never Point... :rotfl2:
I was a Disney Store CM at our local mall and we weren't allowed to point, you Must use the 2 finger slide instead of pointing :sad2:

How cool! You've worked at the Disney Store and Build a Bear...awesome! Back in the olden days at Disneyland we were allowed to point directions. Guess someone used the wrong finger one day...:rotfl2:

Oooo I have a question...

For all the "experienced" DCL around here
Who is Bill W ? and how does he have so many friends??

When we were on the Magic, every day there was a "Friends of Bill W" meeting..

I think he was the founder of AA. The Friends of Bill is a discreet way to inform folks that they can attend an AA meeting while on vacation. I learned that when I was deployed to Saudi Arabia, and there was a "Friends of Bill" club on base.

Hey look I hit 600 posts myself today--does that qualify me for a pirate? ;)

No, but your post #5400 does. Congrats!! :cheer2:

It is always slow around this time. My theory is that its because it's close to quitting time on the East Coast, and all those folks are tired of working. So they DIS until its time to go home. :rolleyes1

And now that the blog is updated, I can go to bed....Good Night all:hippie:

The current score is based upon

That's where we're at!!!!!  I think it's AWESOME that we're only 5 ft. or so from that back "secret" deck!! :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: I can't WAIT!!!!!:dance3:

Yahoo! Alex will be 9 in Dec. She loves all things sports, including the New England Patriots! I am working on learning about my new digital camera so I will post some pics at some point!

omg... my Dad does that. He points with his middle finger even when he's just gesturing hand movements during a conversation. He doesn't mean anything by it... it's just how he talks with his hands.... but, omg... it drives me nuts.
