...I hear what you say about DVC... We have added on four times. The first time was on the cruise~~~~tooo good of a deal to pass up....LOL~~!!!!!!!

We love DVC soo much.....

Have you traded DVC to go to other places????

I'm using DVC to stay at the Disneyland Hotel this summer and my DS is begging me to go to Disneyland Paris sometime this year so will probably use it there too... It was easy to arrange the DLH trade - I just emailed DVC and it was confirmed in a couple of days...

I have the opposite problem, I have the time, but I don't have the cash , Life just is not fair sometimes, but then again when did it ever say it was fair

That used to be us, Ed!!! Nowadays we can plan a vacation, pay for it and then DH's company has a crisis and, at the last minute, we can't go...

I'm supposed to be sipping cocktails on Crane beach in Barbados right now - you're right life's definitely not fair...

Oh my gosh that must have been "weird." I know a ton of people reserved on the cruise. But DH was good and as I got the kids ready he went to the pool and plunked himself down so I would have a chair. SO he kind of was reserving it for me but he was sitting in it till I got there...

Now that's called teamwork...

So far we have traded for Hilton Head Island and Williamsburg Va, both were alot of fun. We usually stay at BCV on site.....I can't wait for Hawaii, I thinking 2011 will be a good time to do a week at Disney Hawaii and a Week at a Marriott.

Hope's fever is back and she threw up again at 2:30 this morning...UGH!!!!!!

I am not well. I have an infection now from the surgery and am having a ton of pain. Waiting to see what the dr. says the infection is exactlly....They may put me in the hospital on IV meds... so I will let you know. Thanks, soo much for asking!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to mention, the trades were extremely easy and in Williamsburg we traded for a week at the Marriot Manor Club (i think that was the name) it was a 1 bedroom very nice - kids activities etc.

Never been waitlisted so far. I'm prepared for the Hawaii DVC to be very popular - certainly to start with and as DVC members will be able to combine with the new GC DVC at Disneyland too... Just have to see how it goes...

I ask about waitlisting since we are going to Vero Beach in July....and we have a two bed. the first night we are there and then the second night we have two studios (waitlisted for a two bedroom) and then we go back to a two bedroom the rest of our stay. So kind of a pain..................

Yikes. So glad this thing moved fast in our part of the state, I was slipping and sliding with the mess we got, but at least I didn't have to shovel that much.

I have waitlisted for a few nights a BCV in the past when I added on days under 7 mos. - I have always recd what I waitlisted for. I usually don't go during high demand times so I think that helps.

When we requested Williamsburg it was for during the summer which is busier, I called about 12 mos out and gave them 6 weeks in the summer to pick from - example - Last 3 weeks of June - First 3 weeks July - I requested a specific resort. They called me back about 3 mos. later and said they had the 2 week of June available and I took that.

I think Hawaii will be busy, but it will depend on how fast the units sell.

In July Air Tran was having a great deal - $110 RT, and I had my annual pass until Sept 1 - so DD and I decided to take a quick weekend trip to WDW - I called about 8 days ahead and was able to get BWV Studio no problem.
